Belgium striker Divock Origi has opened up a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham interested.

The Lille man has impressed during his two appearances at the World Cup, coming off the bench to net claim a late winner in the 1-0 win over Russia.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are all reportedly keeping tabs on the 19-year-old's progress with the intention of a summer bid.

And Origi has boosted the Premier League trio's chances after revealing his childhood dream of playing in England's top-flight, but admits he won't decide until after his World Cup campaign.

"As a little boy I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League," he said. "But I'm still young and now I'm in an important tournament so I'm try to focus on the team.

"Then my entourage will see with Lille what I'll do."

Origi found the back of the net six times for Lille last season, helping the club to a third in Ligue 1.

Liverpool are in talks with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid over a deal for their out-of-favour defender Toby Alderweireld.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has made strengthening his defence a key priority this summer, and Belgian hardman Alderweireld is being eyed up.

According to Sky Italy, Liverpool have approached Atletico to discuss a £7million transfer and hope to be able to do business quickly.

The powerful centre back, who can play anywhere across the back four or in midfield, was a target for Liverpool last summer before eventually signing for Atletico.

However, he has since failed to establish himself as a regular in the team and manager Diego Simeone could let him go for the right price.

Couldn't agree with you more, always been a huge fan of his

Also wouldn't mind Toby Alderweild as well, solid cb and can play well at rb as well

Former Liverpool defender Phil Thompson was on Newstalk.ie this morning and spoke about the Luis Suarez bite incident, the England performance and mentioned a name on everyone's lips at the moment, Alexis Sanchez.

According to Thompson the Sanchez transfer from Barcelona is a deal done, whether this relates to the Suarez situation or not remains to be seen but it could mean some genuine good news for Liverpool fans.

Thompson said on the Breakfast show this morning: "Even just yesterday I had things from people, newspaper guys with their ear very close to the ground at Liverpool, saying that the Sanchez deal is actually done".

He went on to tie this to the Luis Suarez situation saying:" Will it now angle for them to ease Luis Suarez out of Liverpool?, it looks that way."

Depending on what happens with an impending FIFA investigation Liverpool could look to offload the Uruguayan to Spain with Barcelona a likely destination.

The signing of Sanchez would somewhat soften the blow but if Liverpool decide to stand behind Suarez and add the Chilean to their ranks the reds would have a powerful attacking line for next season.

Signing Sanchez will not ease the sale of Luis even one bit. We need them both. Do people not understand we cant go on like this? We have to add too the good players we have, not sell one to buy another.

I agree, i agree lol, that's Thommo's quote  :grinning:

in other news from Liverpool Echo...

Liverpool FC midfielder Luis Alberto will join Malaga on a season-long loan tomorrow and Kolo Toure could follow him out of Anfield.

Spaniard Alberto will return to his homeland after the La Liga outfit offered a £1million loan fee.

They will also pay all the 21-year-old’s wages after promising him the first-team football which was lacking during his first campaign with the Reds.

Alberto made just two starts and 10 substitute appearances last term following his £8million switch from Sevilla.

However, with youth on his side manager Brendan Rodgers has decided to loan him out rather than seek a permanent transfer.

Toure could also move on with Turkish club Trabzonspor keen to secure his services.

The Ivorian centre-back is currently considering his options after falling out of favour in the second half of last season.

The 33-year-old, who is under contract for a further 12 months, made 24 appearances following his free transfer from Manchester City but didn’t start a match in the last three months of the campaign.

Liverpool can offer Toure no guarantees about game-time next season and they won’t stand in his way if he decides he wants to move.

Daniel Agger , Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho are all ahead of him in the pecking order and Rodgers is also chasing Southampton’s Croatian centre-back Dejan Lovren.

Liverpool central defensive options also include Sebastian Coates and Tiago Ilori. However, Coates, who has returned to fitness after a serious knee injury, is expected to be sold, while Ilori is likely to be loaned out again following a spell at Granada last season.

Toure decided to stay on at the World Cup in Brazil following the death of his younger brother Ibrahim Toure last week. The 28-year-old had been battling cancer.

we pretty much loan everything we buy   we have 4 competitions next season and he's sending alberto and lorri out on loan  :wwww  why the fook did he waste the clubs money on them in the first place  :veryangry  the year before it was borini and assaidi and who's it going to be next year ? emre can and lambert because he cant guarantee them game time either.
sooner or later we will have to sell suarez just to balance the books to compensate for all the ***** he's buying. i mean he doesnt even have confidence in them himself so what was the point.
