those are the types of stories you get in the press when your not doing well at a big club, you get sniped at from all angles.
the fun is only just starting at united, the ex players havent started chipping in yet, wait till that starts, that really splits the fanbase in two, houllier and benitez copped for loads of flak from ex reds infact st. john wouldnt even call ged by his name, he used to call him `the frenchman`.
steele doesnt sound too happy about being pushed out in that article, all fergusons coaching staff must have been quite pally with the players, i imagine the players werent too thrilled to see their mates being shown the door en masse.
a lot going on behind the scene`s at united i suspect.

True, unfortunately though when you have class players like Rooney and van Persie slip ups will happen. Occasionally they will win games on their own or as a partnership.

We've just got to hope Moyes keeps doing what he's doing and van Persie and Rooney start to struggle for form.

If that happens I can see it being a very good season.

They've been absolutely cack so far under Moyes but unfortunately they're still not miles off the pace.
They're still in the Carling Cup.  They'll most likely get out of the CL group.
And they're only 8 points behind in the league having already played City, Chelsea and ourselves. 

They were rather lucky to scrape wins against Stoke, Sunderland and 10 man Palace.  Those scraped wins have just about kept their heads above water. 

Lets hope they don't kick on from the weekend.   

I can see them going downhill over the coming seasons but can't see them finishing midtable.

Exactly.  If they beat Fulham this weekend and we draw with Arsenal they're only 6 points off the top and 4 behind us. 
If they win and we win they're still only 6 off the top. 

Their style of play now is pretty rubbish and i think Moyes will fail but I'm not going to get carried away thinking they're immediately a midtable team.

They will beat Fulham, and continue on this winning streak.  That's good as it gives them hope things are going to be OK.  That means he keeps the job for longer and the long term decline is nailed on.

They of course will not just vanish from competing over night but the longer he is in charge the more sure we can be of the decline in the long term.

They usually f*ck up against Fulham though.

I thought I would enjoy the decline of Man U a lot more than I am..

I think its no fun watching them fail with Moyes in charge, it would be like relishing LFC's dismal performance under Hodgson.

However, long may it continue!!

having lived it, we have too much perspective.....it's still too close to home

Im concerned as well, I like little more improvement in ManU so hopefully Moyes gets another season then they can get relegated
