so the 2nd half performances against stoke , notts county , manu , swansea & villa were down to them having more quality players .....

to be fair we have rode our luck in the 2nd halves of every game this season not because our players are sh!t or that the opposition have more class players....

It'a about time we had some STEEL in midfield.

Stevie lauded for being "hard" but it seems even he is thinking more about his long term fitness rather than just getting stuck in.

Be interesting to see what happens now with Coutinho out. Suarez is back after Saturday but doesn't really excel in the number 10 role. He's better coming from a wider area. Moses, Henderson and Aspas aren't natural number 10's. That leaves Luis Alberto as the natural choice and after his hatrick last night he should be bursting with confidence.

                                       Sturridge

       Moses                       Alberto                    Henderson

                              Lucas             Gerrard

That looks the logical front six for Saturday. After that Suarez is back and we could well see a change of formation.

Alberto shouldn't be anywhere near the first 11 yet - not physically ready to play in the prem. Suso would have been the perfect player to come in.

Would like to see Sterling in the line up to replace Coutinho.

His team needs to help him more.

Widen your view.

So your view is, it's because there's a team playing against us, that Coutinho has failed to shine?  :D

The opposition needs to stop tackling him and stuff.

i can't believe you said that also!  :D

I agree. Raheem may as well participate, he's just wasted sat on the bench doing nothing . :p

if he isnt ready or able to step in while coutinho is out then you have to question why he was bought, shelvey would have been more than able to fill in for 4-5 games so as he is his replacement then id expect him to be more than capable of being a stop gap.
you completely contradict yourself there benny saying alberto isnt ready for the physicality of the league but sterling is  :help  sterling is just another hyped up english talent who is struggling to live up to half of that billing. has no strenght about him whatsoever and doesnt just lose out in the tackle  :no  he gets fired out of them and more often that not ends up face down on the ground.
suso would technically be a perfect replacement for coutinho, so would isco or mata but the obvious problem being that none of them are playing for us this season  :D

I know. Kind of crazy that you need this stuff pointing out. My point to you is that there are two teams on the pitch. The PL isn't easy. Great players don't win matches just by being there. Because Coutinho dosent score every match dosent make him a bad player.

You seem to have a very narrow view of the game.

Still tryna figure out Hustlers motives. Comments like "he's kack, end of, sell him" when bandied around along side calls to rid the team of other players just seems blatant p*ss taking.

I've had better football chats with mancs.
