Yeah I have. Still young 22/23 so I can see why we are going for him and he has a goal scoring record of around one in 3.

Only problem is he likes to be a focal point the same as Sturridge as well as there being intrest from Ac milan for him.

have you seen a lot of him?

Others who have said that he wouldn't improve our 11?

He is a decent player - not the top level player but would improve us from seeing him play for Ukraine but im sure the guy on the other flank was better - Konoplyanka

Chelsea sign Etoo so Rooney is staying at the Mancs and possibly a striker leaving Chelsea - would take Lukaku

I think Ba will be the one to leave looks like Newcastle have enquired about taking him back. I think Arsenal should try and sign the lad

Lukaku won't be going anywhere, well permanently anyway. They will look to get rid of Ba IMO. I would want him, think he is quality and would add something to us and Chelsea won't be asking too much for him either, maybe get back the £7m odd they spent on him and they would be OK to deal.

With regards to Yarmolenko, a bit vary of Ukrainian/Russian players doing well here. The ones that have come over for big money haven't been that successful IMO. Like's of Shevchenko, Rebrov, Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko, Zhrikov came here with big reputations but never really did it. Doesn't mean Yarmolenko is destined to fail, but just makes me a bit vary, especially at the price's that are being quoted.

BA would be a great catch. A Clinical Striker which doesn't mess around.

Totally, He knows the league and has proven he can score here. Plus I really do think Chelsea will deal for around £7m and for that price it is a no brainer. There was an issue with his knee where it was mentioned he would struggle to pass a medical but don't know the in's and out's of that.

Unfortunately, as we've left it so late, we will have to pay quite a bit more for 3rd and 4th choice players. We could have got our 1st and 2nd choice players if the Owners had the balls to sort it early by providing funds. Instead, they have the same issue, and now seem to want to give BR funds for these players. Basically, they want to pay over the odds for the 3rd and 4th choices (and of lesser quality)' rather then pay that little bit more for real top quality. Their business acumen seems a little off to me at moment...........

yarmolenko looks a decent player, really good with the ball at his feet, and direct. plus sakho in and enquire about ba and id say we have had a great transfer window. all ifs and buts. but definately not out of our reach.

Torres is shot. I'd keep well clear. Rafa got the best out of him in his peak years. Don't think BR will be able to do much with him. Problem with Torres is when his not on his game, something which is pretty frequent now, his general demeanour on the pitch is atrocious and I wouldn't want that to infect our young squad/team.

Yarmolenko and Eriksen are different players and are incomparable. Yarmolenko is a winger while Eriksen is an attacking midfielder. I would also much rather have Eriksen though and would be very disappointed if Spurs sign him, especially for the price that is being mentioned.
Yarmolenko is also a very good player though. Skillful and fast, just the sort of winger we need. The price being mentioned for him is the maximum I'd pay for him though. He looks good and his stats are good but he's only played in the Ukrainian league after all.

re Ba and Torres, why would we need any of them? We already have enough CF's with Suarez, Sturridge, Borini and Aspas all able to play there. We need goal scoring wingers or attacking midfielders.

As for the CB targets, it is likely that we'll end up with that lorry guy. I wouldn't be very surprised if we do but I'll be disappointed. The kid is way too unproven and we need someone who can step in and be a starter. We have enough kids anyway.
