Looks like Spurs have Eriksen for £9-10mil - same age , same position as Alberto !

Twitter has the price for Illori up to £15mil ?

Gianluca Di Marzio ‏@dimarzio 3m
#Sakho future: @OfficialASRoma talked to him but he could (and should) sign with @LFC soon.

So I guess we are signing Sakho ,llori and the Dutch Boy...3 CB's surely will ensure us a 0-0 against the Manure.

Same position as Alberto? Have you watched any of these players Benny?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Add to the ever growing list

Spurs have also sorted a CB out - Vlad Chiriches

It seems we haven't even made a bid for Sahko yet.

Very frustrating time tbh, was so much promise at the beginning of the window

In the majority of BR interviews done, he has allowed us to believe that we will be signing 2 - 3 more players for the first team

They better get a bl00dy move on for sure

3 and half days to do what we have struggled to get done in 8 weeks.

GiveMeSport is reporting that:

Liverpool have reportedly made a £19.7m bid for Dynamo Kyiv striker Andriy Yarmolenko, as Brendan Rodgers looks for final additions before Monday's transfer deadline.

The Ukrainian player, who has previously been dubbed 'the new Shevchenko' has made 173 appearances for the club, scoring 55 goals.

Yarmolenko had been tipped for a move to Shevchenko's former club AC Milan but now it seems the Merseysiders have stepped up their interest in the forward after losing out in the chase for Anzhi Makhachkala's Willian.

Despite being only 23-years-old, the Ukrainian already has 32 caps for the national side and has notched an impressive 11 goals during that time also.

Mikhail Gulordava, the player's representative said: "He would like to follow in the footsteps of Andriy Shevchenko. Premier League clubs are also interested."

Yarmolenko came through the youth set-up at Kyiv and has been tipped for the top since his debut in May 2008, making a big impression with his impressive technical attributes, allied to blistering pace and power.

A Ukrainian Premier League winner in 2008/09, the winger looks destined for bigger things and will get the chance to impress a wider audience if a deal can be struck with Liverpool in the coming days.

Me neither, the fella's got the skills, and if the £9-10 million quoted is correct it's an absolute bargain.

Seriously fked off with our (so far) *****' poor attempts in this window to actually add some real quality to the squad

I dont see either. From what I've seen of him (albeit only on the international stage) he's looked impressive.  But He's now entering the last year of his contract, he's been "available" all summer. We've apparently been scouting him for a while, as have many other clubs - but noone until spurs have made an offer - sometimes you wonder "is there a good reason for this?" - It's not like he's a £30m man, or even a £20m signing. £9m sounds like a real bargain to us - but maybe we're missing something

For fcks sakes.... Yarmolenko for 20+mill ? seriously ?
I'd take Eriksen ahead of him even out of position.

On a different note, I hope we get 1 of the defensive names we've been linked with. JUST ONE. We dont need to be piling them on and spending when we dont need to. One CB, one attacking player, and one in midfield if we have some change. Hopeful I know, but we put ourselves in the mess by selling Downing & Assaidi when we're already short on options out wide; no way in hell Rodgers is daft enough to sell both without having someone (or a few options) lined up.

Missing someone to get the deals done - it doesn't matter who the transfer committee pick its then up to someone to get that deal done , someone to sell the player to the owners and someone to sell the club to the player - apparently for the Mhyktaran deal Ayre was the man and for Willian it was Hogan ?! WTF is going on - Spurs have Levy and they are getting the players they want bar the odd one.

Ayre is a big weak link for us. We need a proper DoF/ Football CEO to sell our club and get the deals done
