yes it does. As I joked in the match thread, I bet PSG after hearing of our injury list have just put a couple of mil on Sakho's fee!

Have to say we've been unlucky here too. we have 9 first team defenders. and 5 of them are currently injured. I think any team would suffer with over 50% of their back row injured.

Isn't the Sahko deal just a loan move ?

Yeah we have been hit by injuries - 3 of our 4 Cb's could possibly be out

Need to get a deal for Sakho sorted as soon as possible.

Since when does being 3rd choice matter?

PSG spent €32m on Marquinhos and €42 on Thiago Silva, any defender will be 3rd choice behind those two.

i've seen Sakho a few games and I'd say Toure is a bit better.

He wouldn't be my first choice CB to buy , prob better players in the prem that we could get but expect his fee is quite modest. He is a decent CB though

being 3rd choice doesnt really matter at all as he will probably be the same here.
i was just looking for an opinion on the lad from maybe someone who watches the french league on a regular basis and therefore would be in a better position to rate him or not.
all i know is that he is 23 and for some reason the manager decided to replace him with players that are better or just cost more, either way he has lost his place and i was wondering why if he is the monster player the media portray him as.

Would hope any CB we sign is signed to be first choice - that's the statement that was made by the manager 7 weeks ago - squad fillers sorted - now time for the players to improve the first 11
