I'm still hoping the Moses link is pure fabrication from the media - would be totally dismayed if we loan Moses from Chelsea. That's the sort of thing a mid to lower table team does because they can't afford to purchase the players or pay their wages. We shouldn't be loaning players from Chelsea.

I think there are better players out there that are available to us than Moses.

And whilst I do think that we can do better and should be buying better, I do think that Moses is a step up on Downing, so as a player "swap" it would improve us as a team than a team with Downing in it.

Don't worry I expect us to pull out of the deal now because we have possible competition ;)

Liverpool have been joined by a number of clubs hoping to sign Victor Moses on loan from Chelsea ( Gary Jacob )

Moses’s suitors include Southampton, West Brom, Newcastle, Everton, Stoke City, Crystal Palace, Cardiff, Schalke  ( Gary Jacob )

Rodgers needs to bring in players he believes will help us climb the table. It doesn't matter who we get them from and it's certainly not the end of the world if we are doing loan deals so we can spend the majority of our budget on a key player or players.

For what it's worth I don't see a lot of value in bringing in Moses when we have Sterling and Ibe, who I believe will provide as much threat in the final third. But we don't know what Rodgers has planned so I won't be up in arms if we bring in Moses.

when a reporter brought up the subject of moses to rodgers in todays press conference he didnt deny or rubbish the reports.
very disappointing if he`s meant to be our starting XI type acquisition.
imo our summer business hasnt been the business of a club hell bent in getting back into the top 4 - a couple of loan signings, a free transfer and a couple of signings from spain that sent us all rushing to wiki and youtube to find out who the hell they were.
rodgers isnt too enamoured himself by the sounds of it, with less than a week left it`s time fsg stepped up to the plate

I wouldn't mind Moses if we're selling Borini, but we desperately need a quality signing to play in our attack and Moses isn't such a player.

I agree ,Moses is a very good player, I thought he was one, if not the best player for Chelsea during their pre-season.
If Rodgers sees the opportunity to recruit a player of his calibre then I will be more than pleased.

Still got my fingers crossed that this Moses deal is rubbish and we have a quality player lined up

I have trust in Rodgers at the moment.
Wasn't too sure about Sturridge but so far he has been brilliant and looks a top striker.
Hadn't seen too much of Coutinho when we signed him but now he looks like he could become one of the best in the world.
Wasn't sure about Mignolet or Toure but both look fantastic fits for our squad so far.
Even Aspas has added a bit.

Based on that, whoever we bring in, they deserve a chance at least.

Blimey another one leaving, I thought we were supposed to have a small squad.

Really hoping we get a couple in this week.
