Regardless of that (it wasn't the difference between us and Spurs), according to most reports Spurs did not exceed our bid. Willian CHOSE London over Liverpool.

If it's true, which I doubt it is, then it probably means we feel we have no other options at this point.

Although I did hear yesterday they wanted Lamela rather than Willian, so who knows, something may change even this late in the day.

SSN saying Willian is currently at spurs having is medical this afternoon. He wouldn't back out now surely? You only have a medical once you agree terms.

Other rumours are they Spurs actually only want one of Willian / Lamela. But they've been going ahead with both incase one fell through. further rumour to that rumour is that AVB prefers Willian and Baldini prefers Lamela (though I think that is rather too simplistic considering their respective histories with both players)

I think Spurs need to be certain that Bale is going and Madrid have the money

Talksport are reporting that Totsh1te confirm that they are only in talks with Ahnji about Willian. Thought they confirmed this  already and he was having a medical. What's going on......

At least you have you priorities sorted - ignore the fact we have a squad lacking in the quality required for 4th - don't worry about that because fans that aren't happy are quiet. If you think it's just me and Eds that are unhappy about our current transfers ( or lack off ) then you are massively mistaken

I'm pretty certain the owners can do no wrong in your eyes.
