I cant say if a bid was or wasnt made. All i can say is that Man city were interested and now he will sign for Madrid.

So you can't say that Isco turned City down ? So when you said yes about bids and turning down it wasnt strictly true.

Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Malaga to sign Isco on a five-year deal, for a reported fee of £23m.

Manchester City were also pursuing the midfielder, 21, with new manager Manuel Pellegrini hoping to lure him to England having been his boss at Malaga.

Isco, who recently won the Under-21 European Championship with Spain, is due to have a medical on 3 July before being presented at the Bernabeu.

He becomes new Real manager Carlo Ancelotti's first signing.

Isco was signed by Pellegrini from Valencia in 2011 and had suggested he wanted to play under him again next season, calling his former boss a "footballing father".

How much did Madrid pay for him?

I still havent been aware of a bid from Madrid but he is going there.

Just because the media havent reported a bid from city that doesnt mean one didnt happen

I'm pretty sure if City made a bid for him the media would know. Not much is kept quiet in football now.

Again it's not really a confirmed bid is it.

City playing in a pre season game against AC Milan won 5-3 ! 5 nil at half time - they need a CB - looking like they are after Pepe - that will be interesting , red card central

Then let's just hope that his promises won't go into vain. Anyway, he seems a goood manager, so I guess he'll try his best.

We will see how much he will deal with what he utter. If he really said that, then let him prove his reassurance.
