It's not just a DM we need though - neither Lucas or Allen provide a physical dominating presence in the middle of the park

Have a hot line to the manager now ?

And it doesn't mean people can't debate about it unless that's not allowed now ?

Know he had a rough time settling in Europe but how did he do last season ?

Yeah he signed for Roma last summer, scored against us in the Friendly in Boston.  Had a very solid season at Roma.  His International displays have been really impressive for me.  Granted he's back with his club now as Klinsman is having very much a B team playing in the Gold Cup (he has a policy that if players are in the starting XI of their European clubs than he wants them to get as much time with them as possible).

Bradley in the World Cup qualifiers looks a much more mature player.  Still strong in the tackle (In CONCACAF, you have to be, I was shltting bricks when it was mentioned that Sterling might be called up to the Jamaican team, no way do I want to see him kicked about like he would in CONCACAF)  Much more composed on the ball, playes the deep lying role very well, has something to offer going forward, very good on set pieces both offensively and defensively.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I don't see why we couldn't if we wanted him.  He went to Roma for about 6 mill.  He's gotten better so I'd imagine 8 mill would do it.  We seem to be fine with spending that on a couple of unproven players.  Why not have a go at a player in his prime for that sum that would add some much needed steel to our midfield.

Because he doesnt want that. He never had it at Swansea. Thats not the BR Style of playing.

Bradley is a good player but no better than Lucas (when he's in form) and he's very similar with him, just a bit better at going forward. Won't provide the physical presence and energy we require either. We need a Yaya Toure type of player. But as LFC1990 said, it's not going to happen.

I'd only disagree with that assessment in regards to Bradley not providing the physical presence.  He's got that in his locker above anything else he has.

Kind of funny that there has been a well discussed honest conversation about a player that we have not been linked to and no insults have been thrown around.  Keep it up my friends.

For the Italian league maybe. Being a hard tackler doesn't mean that he can provide physical presence. He's never going to be considered as physically strong in the Premier League. Diame, Wanyama etc are the kind of bullies that we need.

Then he will have to adjust his style - if he doesn't it will be the undoing of him. If fine sticking to a style but only if its working and successful. If not the managers need to adapt to get the best results. It was clear and still is the team lack the physical power to compete in the prem when it gets a bit rough - it's great playing loving tippy tappy passing football but some teams won't give us the space to do that and will over power us - it happened last season and it will happen again unless the manager brings some players in to combat it.

Not really seen much of him but that does seem a good price.
