Yeah, though the same about finally signing McCarthy, since Wigan will probably go down this year. I think he'd be a great signing.

seems to be a few rumours going around that ferguson is going to jib it at the end of the season.
apparently the telegraph is running with the story tomorrow as well.
the word is that moyes may take over, cant see it myself.
if ferguson does call it a day united will come crashing down to earth with a bump.

there`s a lot of panic over in redcafe as well.
cant see him jibbing it myself but you never know. maybe he wants to go out on top and he`s not certain he`ll win it again next year.
by all accounts chelsea are going to sign falcao in the summer and city will probably spend big again, maybe he`s thinking of that.

He will be gutted if he's made to step down before catching us up in terms of European trophies ,that would haunt old Taggart for the rest
of his foreseeable future .....Justice  :D

there`s a few rumours saying that if ferguson does go (and thats a big if) he`ll move upstairs and if thats the case he`ll want a successor that he can get on with, thats why moyes`s name is in the hat.
when you think about it the likes of mourinho or klopp wouldnt take too kindly to anyone telling them how to do their job.
initially i started laughing when moyes name got mentioned but he is one of fergusons closest LMA buddies and he probably wouldnt mind ferguson giving him advice and getting involved every now and then.
he`s probably been getting advice off ferguson for years.

surprised he is actually retiring but thank fook he is and the dirty old fooker wont be missed.
this whole talk of moyes is interesting but probably wide of the mark, the board is who will make the decision not fergie. would they really appoint a manager who has won nothing solely on the advice of his countryman ?, i honestly doubt it and seen as mourinho is still not confirmed as returning to the chavs id imagine the board would be at least interested.
manure need to be challenging for the league and qualifying for the latter stages of the CL every year and with maureen they would probably remain in the vein they are in now but it would be a much bigger gamble appointing moyes.

Still prone to impromptu jigs over the recently incinerated one ,but I'm sure I will reserve a dance for old Taggart when the times right . :D

It looks as if Roma have agreed a fee with Ajax for Toby Alderweireld. Weren't we after this guys as well? Surely Roma isn't considered a better option than us? We give up on this guy, we gave up on de Vrij and apparently the owners don't want Rodgers to go after Williams either. So who the hell are we going to sign? Carra's leaving, and if we sell both Skrtel and Coates, we'll need to sign at least two CBs. I hope Brendan and his scouts know what they are doing.

Well well well, it seems that Moyes will most probably be made the Man Utd manager after all.

Over at the Everton forums, everyone seems to be strongly in favour of Martinez becoming the next manager ...

I'm a bit confounded at that, but whatever  :lookaround

I'd like to see us sign Goodwillie and Seaman in the summer.

"Goodwillie to take the corner!! It's Goodwillie with Seaman on the and of it and he scores"
s@int - 13 December 2009

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
