Not that they're in the same league as Alonso but just doubt we'll use any more of our budget on CM, unless its a DM

Sahin is on loan from Real so we've spent big on him at all!!! i'd send him back in Jan and have Alonso anyday

5mil for a 9 month loan deal is a pretty hefty fee, especially for what is essentially a bit part player.
unfortunately id doubt we would be able to send him back in jan because (quote david gold "we didnt get him from argos"). considering we only got 2 mil for carrolls loan and he's an established prem player and international id say no wonder arsenal didnt kick up too much of a fuss.
whats done is done and the lad clearly has ability so hopefully he will toughen up a bit and gets stuck in when given his chance.
it would be a real coup for us if we got xavi back and he would be an ideal role model for suso, hendo and shelvey. he would be a real good signing in the short term which is what we need to ease the transition within the team.
i doubt he will returning anyway but if he was available id like to see us at least interested in getting him rather than sign another one for the future.

5 million is the estimated total cost of having Sahin for the season, this includes taking on part/all of his wages. The echo reported that the actual loan fee is 2 million euros. That is the same fee Real Madrid received the season before when loaning a player out.

It’s estimated that it cost West Ham a total of 3 million pounds to have Carroll for the season, this includes their contribution to his wages.

This is utter tripe.

Anyone now saying "i knew all along Sahin was *****" and that money was to much is telling porkys.

He looked every bit the player we needed.

sahin has been one of the biggest dissappointments of the season so far, i thought he`d be a tremendous player for us.
i notice he was in the paper the other day saying he`s finding it hard to adapt to playing further forward, he said rodgers hasnt played him in his natural position since he`s been at the club.
saying that there`s a few players from the bundesliga at the moment who are finding the prem hard going, kawaga cant get into the united team and podolski and mertesacker at arsenal arent doing much better.

Kagawa has been injured since the begging of October, Mertesacker has started every premier league game bar one and has actually done quite well, but yes Podolski has tailed off badly after a strong start but that’s not unusual for a player from abroad in his first season, just look at Hazard.

Not at all, the moment we signed him I questioned his worth and whether he could adapt to premier league life.

Go back and check if you need

Tom Ince heavily linked again and I think he may end up back here in January.

With the sell on clause we implemented it makes the deal cheaper as well apparently.

Just fits the bill really, young, scores goals and works well in the system.

He is now signed to barca, but stuck a 8mill buy out clause in his contract.

I dont know alot about him but hes been linked since the summer

Transfer time wouldnt be transfer time without
