FSG have had all summer to ensure this was corrected by funding the money for Rodgers to bring someone in and now there's talk of this happening in January, but the reality is it won't happen in January and I doubt it will happen next summer.

We are currently sitting in the relegation zone and you can think such talk is vile, but it well become a reality, no team is too good or too big to go down. Such arrogance saw Newcastle relegated three years ago.

Relegation zone after 5 Games and we have played the top 3 last year. Arsenal and spurs were in similar positions and finished 3rd and 4th. Okay they had the finisher upfront. Spain played most of the european championship without a recognised striker and won the thing.

I understand we havent got the squad of midfielders like Iniesta Xavi Fabregas ETC. However the way we are playing I cant see a team in the next 4 to 5 games that were not capable of smashing and i dont mean on the score line. But as Brendan says " Death by a thousand cuts" Meaning the amount of chances we have 1 will go in each game.

It's got nothing to do with their nationality, it's them as people. They brought this club on the cheap and they cleared the debts. That's fine, but since October 2010, we'd have had a 6th place finish and an 8th place finish and the money spent by the club is what the club has made through revenue streams. They have come out and said we won't gamble the club's mortgage on risky spending, but they haven't spent any of their own money to make things risky for us for the future. We desperately need a striker and they couldn't even put up some money for the manager to go out and buy a striker. Nobody is saying the manager needs the same backing as Mancini or DiMatteo, but it was plainly obvious that we needed to replace Fernando Torres and we haven't done that. We've now loaned out Carroll and have no-one as a replacement. It's unacceptable and they're to blame for this.

If they're not willing to do what needs to be done at Anfield to get us competing then they need to do the right thing and sell us to someone who will.

This was said last season, we're one game away from really hammering a team and pushing on and it never happened did it? I don't care about the performance nearly as much as I care about the result. Look at United all season so far, they've been poor and yet they're getting the results. Wigan play some beautiful football, yet they are always hovering just over the relegation zone each season. Playing good football is great, if you're getting the results and as of yet we are not.

Yesterday we had to rely on an 32 year old, injury-prone midfielder to get us the goal we needed - we can't rely on him forever and it's high time that players like Suarez started earning their wage.

yeah, you would have thought at least one of them could have made the effort considering yesterday was about the club acknowledging the 23 year battle fought by the hillsborough families. it couldnt have been easy for kenny returning to anfield 5 league games after he was sacked but he probably felt it was his duty to be there.

suarez has scored 4 goals in all competitions already including 2 in 5 in the league (and those 5 games included fixtures against city, united and arsenal), if he keeps that 2 in 5 ratio up he`ll end up with about 17 league goals for the season which is a excellent return, robbie fowler only managed to score 20 league goals in a season twice in his career and one of those was in the 42 games a season era, the likes of owen and keegan never managed to do it once in a red shirt.

They're just a disgrace and what is just as disgraceful is their plan on expanding Anfield by 15,000 seats and 7,000 of those seats will be corporate seats. Talk about pouring scorn on working class supporters, many of whom won't be able to afford such seats and many of whom have been on the waiting list for a season ticket for several years.

Whoever started off the rumour that none of FSG were at Anfield yesterday has gotten their facts wrong. Tom Werner was at the match yesterday, while John W Henry attend Fenway Park to do some remembrance of their own. Johnny Pesky passed away recently, so they're not all bad and whilst I feel they deserve some of the criticism, using the incident of Hillsborough to slate them is just plain wrong and whoever started this rumour should be ashamed of themselves, just like the idiots who were mocking Mark Halsey's Cancer battle on Twitter. We house some absolute scum, for sure.

you said it`s high time suarez starting earning his wage, i just pointed out he is earning his wage, he`s doing well especially considering our entire attack rests on his shoulders.

FSG, FSG, I have said many times before and I'll say again. They are the root cause of our goal scoring problem this season. Why didn't they back BR with the funds to sign a striker in the summer window?  My answer to that is, they are not rich enough. It is time for them to sell the club to another owner who is rich enough to do that. So FSG do not deserve to own Liverpool FC. They have done what they came here for, cleared our debts but the future for Liverpool is not bright under their impoverished ownership. Do you all really think they will build that new stadium? They don't even have the money to invest in a striker.

I used to think they generously funded Kenny with 120 mill. last year and true Kenny did waste them on clowns but looking at Kenny's the net spend after considering the players we sold, it was not more than 50 million. So the bulk of that fund came from players sold not from FSG. And now even if they can come out with another 35 million for BR to sign a striker in January, it is too late. No good striker in their right mind would want to come to a club that is fighting relegation. Would you? I wouldn't if I were one. Our strikers crisis IMHO would have to depend on the strikers in the youth. Any striker we can in January will be another overpriced Andy Carroll. So why bother? I apologize if I sound too critical or negative, any feedbacks will be appreciated but no abuses please.
