thats quite realistic mate...   5 clubs have made inquiries, Liverpool, Everton, Villa, West Ham and Sunderland.  Of those 5 clubs only 2 would be realistic, Liverpool is a club he's always wanted to play for (see my posts from way back when Adam was at Boro, before he became famous) and Sunderland as he would move back to his beloved North East where his family is. Or stay at City and draw a big fat pay cheque to sit on his ar$e

Out of the 2 if  was a betting man I'd have a punt on a move to Sunderland if City decide to sell him.

did he not turn us down before?.
good player but has no future at city other than a bit part like he has been since he went to them.if he's happy to sit and pull a fat cheque for doing nowt then leave him to it as its his own career thats suffering.

first time it was Rafa that knocked Adam back, he was a bit of an unknown then though I suppose.

The Independent are now reporting that Liverpool are favorites to sign Adam Johnson. Last night Rodgers was told he has funds to sign him.

i`ve never been a huge fan of johnson, he has got a lot of ability but he`s frustrating as f**k.
he`ll go past a couple of players with a tremendous bit of skill but then f**k up the simple five yard pass afterwards, he seems to make the difficult skills look ridiculously easy but struggle with the basics like giving a simple return pass.
one thing he can do though is go past players and make things happen and after seeing downing and borini huff and puff against west brom i think we desperately need someone who can play in the front 3, trouble the opposition and give suarez a hand, if someone would have said to me a month ago shall we sign adam johson i would have said no, if we get offered adam johnson now i think we should bite city`s hand off, we are desperate for some creativity

Hopefully this is true and we can seal the deal. Good player IMO and at 25, he could play his best football with us...

now this is an interesting development, Man city have actually made a move to edge Johnson in the direction of a new club. He hasn't been sure if the club actually wanted him in recent months but  guess this confirms they don't. So, question is...  will it be Liverpool or Sunderland? interesting

Adam Johnson would be a good signing but not a priority
as at the moment we have downing assaidi sterling who plays in the same position I know not as good. We need a goal scorer that we haven't had in years

Adam Johnson is an overrated (mainly by English fans) and overpriced pisshead. I hope we stay well clear.
