How many liverpool fans would be sending Adam amazing tweets anyway? Or is it all in his mind...

His mommy made a bunch of twitter accounts and sent him messages of encouragement.  Tho you'd think he'd wonder why every message was exactly the same...

Nuri Sahin has informed Rodgers of his desire to move to Merseyside after speaking to Xabi Alonso.

"Apparently" Sahin wants to move to Arsenal, capital city, CL football and if I recall they have a massive Turkish  contingent down on the Seven Sisters rd.

"Apparently" Mouriniho and Xabi advised the player on Liverpool. "Apparently" one of the reasons Mourinho wants Sahin to Liverpool is because if he goes to Arsenal, they could then sell Song to Barca.

This is a bit of WWWWW kind of stuffy speculation but there you go...

Just youtubed a video of Sahin. His passing is good but everyone was a long ball.

maybe i saw the same one. they were all pretty good long balls though... reminiscent of alonso in his pomp. he was also lighting fast at getting the ball back when it had been lost in the video i'd seen. and snappy about the box too.

This Sahin may well take the place of Lucas as if we only play 3 in the midfield and
someone has to miss out.

I understand people have grown fond of Lucas but chances are this lad is a better all
round player capable of breaking up attacks and offering more offensively.

He wont come here to sit on the bench anyway as he can do that in Madrid.

This lad is class, however we need someone in midfield to break up the play,

Gerrard, Sahin, Allen.  Not one of them does the job Lucus does. Not sure how that would work out to be fair.

Maybe Gerrard will be moved forward? But then that messes up the 4 3 3.

What ever happens its going to be exicting!!

you've probably seen gerrard play once or twice, probably allen as well, and i'm guessing you've had a look a youtube videos at least of sahin. so how come you don't think that all three of them are excellent at breaking up play and winning back possession?

I have seen them all play and i wouldnt class any of them as a DM. Maybe Gerrard in the early days. Im not saying they cant do it, but its not their normal style.

Gerrard is Attack minded

Both Allen and Sahin are deep play makers. Unless ive missed something?

I just worry about the back 4 that could be without agger with no LucAs style player covering it. Please if im wrong then let me know.

sahin is most certainly a deep lying playmaker. allen i'd describe as more of a link player who'd be neither the most defensive or most attacking of a midfield three. it's essentially the role shelvey has played in the last couple of games but looked a bit lost.

it seems as though sahin is nailed on now. even claims that the deal will be announced tonight or tomorrow.

With regards to Nuri Sahin, Oliver Kay has tweeted the following: "When I said they'll know quickly on Sahin, they do now know. Loan deal to be announced late tonight or tmrw"

I'd play a front 3 of Borini, Suarez and Gerrard and a midfield of Lucas, Allen and Sahin/Shelvey.

There, problem solved and we are starting to look just a little bit sexy I think.
