spain should beat france tonight.

england will go to the dreaded penalties. everyone knows it. italy's record is also dire in shootouts so it could go on all night.  :D

I actually want France to win tonight, don't think it will happen though.

Czech Republic and France have been a disgrace in these Quarter-finals. Talk about not turning up and bothering to try and win the match. Both sides just couldn't be bothered, no passion, no drive, no ambition or determination.

Spain just bore me to tears, it's pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass all match long, I much prefer to watch Germany's pass and move football. I prefer watching direct football and I'm thoroughly looking forward to Portugal vs Spain.

Today's match was a bore-fest and I'd expect tomorrow's match to be as equally boring.

france didnt seem to have any urgency about them at all, i really thought they`d throw the kitchen sink at the spanish in the last 20 minutes but they just let the game drift. it was almost like watching a friendly.

Alonso is class and had a great game. Would love him back here

Never going to happen in a million years. I can see him playing in the Madrid first team for the next four or five years.

Germany vs Greece has been the only good quarter final so far.

The Czech Republic and France ruined the other two matches by not even bothering to try and win.

Germany have been ok mate. But the overall standard of this tournament is poor IMO

Apparently, Wayne Rooney is world class....
