i hope you guys are happy that our clueless american owners are set to be announce Martinez as manager.
given a choice between Martinez and Clark, i rather Steve Clark take over as manager.

i dont want clarke, he`s supposed to be kennys right hand man but after seeing kenny get offered a resignation package and go home he decideds to go to a baseball game with the owners?
how would you feel if you and your mate went in to see your boss, you get fired and hours later your mate goes to a footy game with your boss?

baseless assumptions... how would you know it's not the case of Steve Clarke trying to mediate with the owners to try to keep Kenny at the baseball game? He did resign later out of respect for Kenny after all...

he was trying to mediate with the owners? do you believe in father christmas as well?
he shouldnt be at the club imo he should have walked with kenny, he should have insisted that he wanted to go.

Clarke didnt know Kenny was going when he was at the baseball game and as soon as Kenny was sacked Clarke offered his resignation

I could care less, there's no need to want Clarke to go purely because he was Kenny's right hand man, he's done a good job with the defence imo. I think how bad we were last season is being ridiculously overstated
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

they have worked side by side every day for the past year, if both of them were at FSG head offices at the same time you`d think kenny might of mentioned it to clarke in passing like.

pity he didnt think of it when they won 4 games between august and february, if he`d thought of it sooner he may have even took wigan up to the heady heights that steve bruce got them to.

Context, context please...

Every game has its demands and can only be judged in its own context.

What is far more important here is how these games reflect his approach to the game and the window it gives us of how he identifies football problems and the technical solutions he finds for them.

It is precisely the level of ignorance exhibited by Brian Meade and his supporters that makes the English such ignorants about football in spite of their passion for the game...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.
