hey guys,

anyone using Google Chrome?

i just reinstalled it, and i'm having trouble changing the browser's theme, and when i tried to change the theme, it says something like "could not get temp...".

the same applies to any games which i try to download from the Google webstore.

furthermore, each time i open Chrome, i get a notification saying that "your preferences cannot be read".

any clue how i can get my Chrome back up and running like it used to be?

just got back from a few days away and turned the gas boiler on again. the hot water works fine and the pressure gauge says 1.5 bar, but when i turn on the heating the pressure gauge shows red and the whole thing shuts off. is there anything i can do myself to get the heating working tonight, or do i have to call someone out tomorrow?

cheers

How old is this post?

Bleed the rads Andy, and bleed the pump inside the boiler. Check there is plenty of water in the system first. The boiler itself will have an automatic air vent check this too.

If the boiler has a reset switch, switch that on/off or turn boiler on/off from mains.

If need be top up system with water, don't worry 2 bar is okay see how that goes?

ahh fk ive got a virus on my laptop. AVG alerts me to it each time i open Chrome. it's probably due to the fact that i downloaded a file couple of days back thinking it was a game, but it was a virus. fk!

each time i get rid of it, it reappears. its a Trojan Horse SHeur3 system 32 or whatever the fk it is.

usually when one removes a program from the control panel, it gets deleted and its all cool yeah? i've been trying to delete itunes, safari and quicktime for ages but it keeps saying i don't have sufficient rights. thats bull cause im logging onto the laptop as the admin yet i can't delete them. its fine for other programs though, just the Apple ones that are being stubborn.
