I can give you free hosting, provided you let alone my stuff. I can have 5 domains in the hosting I've hired.

The server can run php, mysql, and whatever you want, it has 60GB of disk space (I only use 1 out of 60), and 1000Gb of transference.

So if you want quality service for free you can use mine.

To answer your question, there are lots of sites that will give you hosting but many of them will add adverts to your site. There are a few websited that do not put adverts, for instance this spanish one

http://hosting.miarroba.com/

If you search in google, you'll easily find english options, but those I haven't checked.

http://www.000webhost.com/

Basically the free hosts are a problem if you plan to have a very succesful site. For instance it would be impossible to run this forum in a free site, because it has a lot of traffic (so that's why we should be grateful to the admin of this site).

But if you need a small website, there shouldn't be problems.

I think that some members of this forum are professional web designers. I just do them occasionally to earn some money, probably someone will help you out better, but if you want my hosting tell me.

Use dvd shrink Dundalk. Its a cracking program that I have used for many years. Very quick and simple to use, and you won't see any difference in quality unless you compress at over 50%. I can't recommend it highly enough mate.

It has the added benefit of stripping off most types  of DVD protection and the region coding, making disks easy to copy and playable on any dvd player. You can even decide what you want and don't want on your copy, if you don't need danish subtitles, or the film extras just untick the box and it won't copy without them if you just want the main film and nothing else just drag the film accross and its done.

All this and best of all its free mate. LINK TO DVDSHRINK AT FILE HIPPO

It will do files/folders as well mate .

Forget codecs and let him use VLC media player which plays most of things that are worth the effort.

If he really needs the codecs for that videos, then let him download

http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en

Media info, which will tell you what codecs need a certain video and even allows you to go directly to the website of those codecs.

Trials are  held in all courts - all depends on the offence for which court it goes too .

i dont think so GYBS. according to an article...

"  The Chancery Division currently has seventeen High Court Judges and is presided over by the Lord Chancellor (Keenan, 2001). The chancellor is only the head of the chancery division and DOES NOT TRY cases.  "

background info: the High Court has 3 divisions namely the Chancery, Family and Queen's Bench.

Anybody know if there's even a hint of a timeline for a "fix" for the dodgy boxes ? OVer here in RoI, NTHell have encrypted the pay-per-view cable channels using Nagravision 3 (I think !) and those dodgy boxes are just gathering dust at the moment.....

Anybody know if there's a hack or fix out yet for this ?
