He's young and looks pretty good at times.  But still doesn't even always start for Red Bulls, so I don't know about what one  If I compared him to a player right now I'd probably say he's like David N'gog.  We'll see.

Agudelo is a very nice young player.  Highly skilled, Lightning fast.  Primarily a striker but utilizes the wide areas with his speed.  Decent crosser of the ball as well.  When playing as a striker he likes to have a pop at goal but also likes to create chances for his strike partners.

Note: He's only here for training.

Note in response to ethanr:  He is nothing like N'gog LOL

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I was referring to the fact that he's small and easily pushed off the ball.  As of now I would say N'gog is a better player... Agudelo doesn't get enough play time with Red Bulls.  He's definitely got potential, and I'm hoping he will do something for our national team soon, but I'm just not getting my hopes up too much because every striker that looks good when they're young never lives up (Adu, Jozy Buddle)

especially with lucas out for the season :(  , who knows how king kenny is going to deal with his absence? are we going to go out and find a stop gap, or are we going to trust spearing and jonjo?

I'm still not sure why we brought jonjo back.  Jonjo is more of an attacking midfielder.  He's alright defensively, but not what we need.  It's up to Spearing at this point to fill the gap, or we'll have to buy in january.  I don't really see us going for a dcm in january tho, so I'm assuming we'll go with spearo

maybe we brought Jonjo back coz Gerrard is looking dodgy??
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

If I remember correctly Jonjo's loan was only untiul the end of the year anyway. You would imagine a certain SG could cover the situation anyway unless of course his 'injury' is far worse than the club is letting on to.

Anelka and Alex have had transfer requests accepted by Chelsea.

Anelka anyone?  Short term solution while Carroll continues to adapt...

Liverpool are being linked with a January raid on Dutch international midfielder Leroy Fer.

The FC Twente star has reportedly been scouted by the Reds on a number of occasions this term, with Kenny Dalglish initially considering a potential summer bid for the player.

However, The Metro claims that Lucas Leiva's season-ending injury has put Liverpool on alert to the player's availability at the start of 2012, with an 'emergency' £10 million bid thought to be needed to bring the player to Merseyside.

The 21-year-old moved to his current home from Eredivisie rivals Feyenoord in the summer, with some impressive performances quickly doubling the player's valuation following the £5 million switch.

A defensive midfielder, the versatile youngster can also play anywhere across the back-line, an addition bonus for Liverpool were they to make a move for Fer.

Dalglish spent big on midfielders in the summer, bringing Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson to Liverpool for a combined fee in excess of £25 million.

Injuries to club captain Steven Gerrard and now Brazilian international Lucas have exposed potential floors in the Liverpool armour though, and a holding midfielder is now a priority for the Scottish boss.

French international Yann M'Vila has also been linked, and the Liverpool manager will have to consider his options alongside director of football Damien Comolli.
