i read that we were linked with christin chivu yesterday. i mean 5 years ago yes but not now. he's 31, injury prone and hardly fits in with the owners policy.

i don't know where half of these stories come from.

Apparently, Bayern Munich could offer 15 mill for Lucas. Reasonable price, but I'd say no.

I am expecting a big January for us again given the way the campaigns panned out to this point. Its either spend again or wave goodbye to that Champs league and they know it as well as we do. Just hope they dont panic and have learned at least one lesson from the last winter window. I doubt we will go British again either so I can see it being young foreign imports looking to move their careers forward at a team where they have a shot of first team action and growing as a player.

I think we will probably only bring in 1 or 2 players in Jan. One of which I expect to be an experiences center back and maybe another striker.

Its hard for a team to gel when there are so many new players in the first team. I never had mega high expectations for this season and I actually think we are doing ok.

If our shots on target figures had improved at the same rate as our possession stats we would be doing brilliant this season. Its eary days for this team and things will improve.

Wholesale changes are not needed in January

I agree with what's said above. I don't think we'll have major signings in January, if any at all actually. The team isn't even properly gelled yet, and just trowing new players into the first team won't really help. I was never for this kind of spending and bringing so many new players, we signed a lot of players that we didn't need for a high price.

I think he signed that weeks ago mate. I actually think I said that on this thread.

City would have never sold him to us anyway IMO.
