Well, seeing as that time is fast approaching, the staff at my work place are thinking about where to go for Christmas Lunch.

Do you good folks have any recommendations of restaurants with  some atmosphere (restaurant last year was rather quiet) that we could try in central London (looking at the £20 -£35 mark) ??

For starters, a couple of mates have mentioned Jamie Oliver's in Covent Garden.

That suggestion was put to the management..... anyway they won't budge on the £20 - £35 mark unfortunately. Off course, individuals don't mind adding an extra fiver or two...

Last year was Smollenskys on the Strand. That was £25 for 3 courses and the food was good.  This year, people just want to go somewhere else.........
