All this talk about our history....that's exactly the problem. We only have our history to go by these days. Whereas teams like Chelsea, Man U and even Man City are MAKING their own history at the moment. So yes, we do have a history that not many teams can boast about, but then again so does the Roman empire. So unless we want to collapse like them, we'd better start thinking about the present as well.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I thought he was good today, apart from not being tight enough for the second goal. Clearly he still has a bit to learn about the physicality of the thing, but at least he dusts himself down, gets up and looks like he's up for it. He didn't play "wide right" as many feared, he was free in and behind and I liked him. Knocks a good ball, gets his foot in, gets about the pitch, and was unlucky with a couple of shots. Aside from Gerrard was our best player, and I'm beginning to see little twinklings of promise from Raul.

well, he had 3 of the team's 6 shots on target today. That itself is a positive note. Atleast there is a chance for the shots to find the net :)

had a good game... I still like him and think he'll become a big player for us... Put Gerrard or someone similar next to him and you get the best out of him at both ends...
