galatasaray are a decent side and we wont have it our own way so hopefully we will see a more settled 11 and erase the memory of the hull game.

Quite a few players missed the last game: Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Aurelio, Lucas, Gerrard, Meireles and Suarez. If they are all still missing I’d like to see this side:

                        Doni

Kelly     Carragher     Kyrgiakos     Insua

             Spearing     Adam

            Kuyt     Cole     Downing

                       Carroll

That's not bad except I'd prefer Hendo thrown in there over Spearing or Cole.  Last game from what I saw he did really well.

Hoping for a much better result... We need to bounce back in the city we made history in.

Between now and the start of the season (Galatasaray, Valerenga and Valencia) I fully expect Kenny to play Downing, Adam and Henderson as much as possible. He has some big decisions to make for the Sunderland game.

I can only see Gerrard being involved in the Sunderland game if he is at least involved in the Valencia game. Assuming Suarez is also rested for the Sunderland game this will mean plenty of opportunity for all the new signings to be involved.

Yes, the friendlies are coming thick and fast now, so we'll see less of players getting 45 minutes at a time - I think well see as much of Kenny's 1st XI playing together as possible for 60 minutes or so against Galatasaray.

And myp2p has plenty of links so hopefully there will be one or two good quality sopcast streams amongst them. Looking forward to it.

I hope the defence does a bit better tonight.  Can't afford to be giving away lots of goals again.
and hopefully a stronger first 11.

Galatasaray of match fixing infamy??   I predict we'll win 38 - 0 with Pepe Reina getting 16.....

It's listed as live, having said that they have previously listed games as live and then the scedule has changed at the last minute.

I think it depends on whether or not other uk channels are broadcasting it.

No but I just heard that Hendo, Downing and Adam havent even travelled.  And with Stevie/pepe injured and Suarez still away... it will be nothing close to the first 11 that will line up against Sunderland....

Probably a bunch of youth and deadwood.

Pah

Was going to watch it to see the new boys play.

Don't think I can stomach watching a midfield of cole and poulsen, with the rest of the deadwood.
