WRONG... Bruce Lee could!

:;):

:D Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Ip Man. Now that line up for the back four would be totally unprenetrable.

Forget this not in Champions League lark, Man City weren't in the Champions League but look at who they attracted. If the project is sold to them (and with our prestige far better than City) then its possible.

A lot of city signings had nothing to do with champions league or 'the project' but money, can't understand why anyone goes there if they want regular football with a squad that big.

Aguero in talks with City for a 35 mill move ? Makes you wonder what Carroll and Henderson would be worth if they werent English...

On another note... Bojan has stated he's on his way out.. Roma seem favorites to sign him... Would be an excellent signing imo and could force his way into the side especially if we play 3 forwards...

Rumours: J. Cole to West Ham on loan. -  Roma interested in Insua.

One last thing ... Was reading about D.Santone (Inter Milan fullback) being offered to clubs in Italy because Inter dont want him.. I think he'd make an excellent addition to the starting 11.. Right footed but I think hes a better leftback than rightback... Young and shouldnt be expensive...

I agree.  Santon would be a great addition and suits the philosophy of young with potential, He's got alot of qualities that make him very versatile too.  I'd rather see him as a winger than a defender at the current stage of his development though.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

its only a rumour a doesn't mention us, but surely that price aint right...

£15m Mata's the next Juan for Arsenal

Arsene Wenger is desperate to clinch a £15million deal for Juan Mata - but NOT as a direct replacement for Samir Nasri.

The Arsenal boss is increasingly confident of landing Valencia’s Spanish winger and negotiations are underway between the clubs.

But Wenger is not looking at Mata, 23, to come in for Nasri, whose Arsenal future is still uncertain after he stalled on a new contract and is ready to quit.

Arsenal have been tracking versatile Mata - who has played for Spain at senior and under-21 levels - for months and believe he will be a top class addition to the squad.

We fly out to Asia on Sunday, I would imagine Kenny might try and get someone else in before then. Also be interesting to see if anyone stays behind.

I imagine we'll have Downing also by Sunday, just a feeling.
