Im noticing some of the "old" symptoms already.. preferring a few drinks than a night club, leaving before last orders, having more food than drink in the fridge.

That's not being old, that's being better

and not knowing what's on the radio isn't s sign of getting old. I'd take that as a blessing, because it's not that you're getting old, it's just that you've been around long enough for your ears to know when music actually sounded good on the radio. Moaning about stuff in general: again, that's not a sign of age, it's just the things that I moan about tend to be mostly about the music that's on the radio. Let's face it: there's only so much "gangsta" rap
you can stomach. It all sounds the same, and it's all
. Once upon a time, black artists could belt out a note, and play the guitar like no one elses business. Whereas the white folks are now trying to be black, or else they're singing about a girl or some
like that. As for going to a bar rather than going to a club, again I've alway prefered that. Why? Because in a bar you can actually hear yourself think and speak, and once again, you avoid
music where it's either R&B
like Akon, or some of the terrible repetitive drone that passes for trance music these days. It's not just the music, but the people in those places. Less I say about that the better.
