this all seems very facebook-like.. if it aint broke.. don't fix it and theres been a lot of board members playing this year so it is definitly not broke.

nah but i do think it's better as it is.. i think the new way.. if after a few weeks the guy at the top of the table is on 18 points and you're on 2 points you'll lose your incentive to play.. "no way im catching that guy so i wont bother tryin to remember to get online every saturday morning" or somethin to that effect.

I think the new way will be better in that situation, take the table at the moment burjennio has 18 points and ethanr has 6 points. There is only about 8 rounds left this season so ethanr has no chance of catching him. But, with the new system he can take a chance and go for bigger points by picking a team in the relegation zone. If they win and burjennios team loses the all of a sudden ethanr is on 12 points and burjennio is out. And there is still 7 games to play. He can still catch him!

At the moment a lot of people just play it safe until they get to round 4 or 5 when they are forced into picking a team that isnt nailed on to win. The new system will encourage players to take more of a risk earlier on in order to get more points but at the same time they may go out in the first round because the risky team they picked were beat!!

It will be up to each player how they play the game, if you still want to play safe (pick a team from the top 5) then you can and each time you go through you will get 2 points. So after 5 games you have 10 points.

The player that takes a risk could get 6 points in the first round, 4 in the next, 2 in the next, three in the next and four in round five. So after 5 games he has 19 points!!

But as I said it will be up to each player how they play.....

I think people might start picking the same team more often than not now, but I could be wrong. We will find out

But you can only pick one team per week and you cant pick them the following week. The rules are all still the same, the only difference is the point scoring

Ya it's over today no matter what happens. If arsenal win, I get a point and win. If they don't win then I don't get a point and I guess we tie... If both arsenal and chelski would have won it would have been the same thing. We both would have gotten a point but the game would have ended in a draw.
