The basic idea is that each player picks a different team each week to win their weekend fixture.

Win and you're still in, draw or lose and you're out.

The overall winner is The Last Man Standing.

Rules:

1. Your first entry must be in before the first game kicks of on Saturday. That's the cut off point for entries. You must come back to this thread every week (providing you have survived the previous week) and pick another team for the following week. Just remember you can't pick a team you have already used previously.

2. Weekend Premier League fixtures only (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). If there is a full fixture list during the week, then there will be a game round during that week.

3. Win only! Draw or lose and you're out.

4. You can only pick each team once.

So keep track of which teams you have already picked. You can pick a team that someone else has already picked. It just means you can't pick that team again.

5. I will keep the 1st page updated with players and the teams they have picked.

7. If everyone remaining is knocked out the same weekend, they will be put back in for the next week, unless they have all picked the same team or if we are down to the last two. If the last two win their first game then they will both get 5 points for winning the and we start again to avoid the game being drawn out

8. If 2 or more teams somehow make it through 20 matches, then they can pick from all the teams again.

9. For those that haven't picked by the cut off point they will be knocked out. This ensures only committed players continue to play.

10. Points will be rewarded as follows : 1 point for each round you get through; 3 points if you are still in the gameweek that the LMS is declared; 5 points if you win the LMS. There will be a league table that will be updated and displayed regularly.

This year there will be a few changes to the game to make it a bit more interesting. The Good Yank is responsible for this so you can thank him

Last year if you picked Arsenal and they won then youd get a point and go into the next round, the same happened to anyone who picked Wigan, even though they took a risk.

Well next year the points you get will depends on your teams position in the league. So we will start with last years completed table and this is how it will work

Interesting amendments, I'm surprised however that the most obvious factor hasn't been included.

i.e. the HOME and AWAY status. Surely picking an away team deserves an extra point ?

???

Great amendments but just needs one more little rule. Which of course that whoever finished 15th last year gets extra three points per round regardless of the result

:D ,

OK, but surely whether a team is playing home or away has as much (if not more) relevance as to where it finished last season does.   ???
