So if United lose in a shocker opener of like 3-0, that might put them at the bottom of the table.  In week 2, anyone who picked United would get 6 points if they win?

No the table will be from that week only, if the team you picked from that week are in the relegation zone you will get 6 points but the following week the same team could be 14th and if someone else picks them they would get 4 points

Get it?

So my United 6 pointer scenario is possible?

The promoted teams will be the 6 point teams.

I'm sure he can move it around.  A month into the season the table can be rearranged or even done based on how the league standings are after maybe half the season or something.

Each week whoever you pick you will get points depending on where your team is in the league. If you pick villa and they are 14th in the league and they win then you will get 4 points. So villa win and move up to 9th in the table, someone else picks them the following week and villa win again then they will score 3 points.

When picking your team it will depend their league position on Saturday morning before the first kick off and of course the prem table will change every week

Yes that's the way it will work.

The prem table will eventual even itself out after about 5 games, but it means there will be a lot of points in the first few  weeks up for grabs

not sure i do like it.. i mean it will make keeping track of the previous years scores to compare your current score redundant.. also in the first week what happens? will every team be just one point because all teams are essentially on level points?

this all seems very facebook-like.. "let's just add a bit more there.. then a bit more here.." until eventually you're left with something that is an utter shadow of what we used to love. just my opinion like.. can you imagine if the premier league kept adding drastic changes every year.. we'de end up with penalty shoot-outs at the end of every drawn game or somethin :O

if it aint broke.. don't fix it and theres been a lot of board members playing this year so it is definitly not broke.

lol sorry.. just an opinion.. guessing it won't mean much as everybody seems to be up for it.

 sorry, i'll take my miserable a*se for a walk!
