Taff after recent complaints we've got to jazz up the "Dog and Gorilla " menu.(or shoot half our customers )
How about in addition to our signature dish (bananas and brown sauce ) we add
Banana bread (with brown sauce)
Banana butter (with brown sauce)
Banana ketchup (brown sauce available)
Banana Rum Puffs (with hot brown sauce)
Banana muffins (brown sauce at managements discretion)
Banana beer (with brown sauce shooters)

Taff just found some brown sauce recipes on the net !

Blueberry Cake with Brown Sauce.

Cake                                                          Sauce

3 cups blueberries                                           2 tablespoons butter
half cup butter                                               2 tablespoon flour
1 cup sugar                                                   quarter teaspoon salt
3 egg yolks                                                    third of a cup brown sugar
2 cups flour                                                    quarter teaspoon vanilla
half teaspoon grated nutmeg                              1 cup boiling water.

we can of course sub bananas for blueberries .

I feel the Dog and Gorilla's 1st michelin star coming on

Basic Brown Sauce Stock
3 cups meat stock
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup wine/dry sherry
3 quarter cup brown sugar
2 star anise
4 whole cloves
1 finger ginger ,smashed .

Flambeed chicken ar*eholes drizzled with a coulis of brown sauce on a bed of pan-fried bananas.
