I pray to god that Kenny can turn this round, honestly, with out players i dont think he is going to do any better (although no doubt tactics will be better and style of play), I will however Jizz in my pants if he does turn it round, but we need big investment players wise, lets get sat back at the top again please!!!

Good luck Roy, nice man you are, you really got thrown out of your depth here, a certain level is needed at this club, and try as you might, you were never going to be able to fullfill that.

Hope we don't put too much pressure on Kenny , he's got some job on his hands.

The blame for all this lies with those who ignored Kenny's advice and appointed Roy.

We cannot blame Roy for accepting the sort of  job he probably thought he was past getting .

I for one have taken no pleasure in the vitriol that has been thrown Roy's way , although I accepted he needed to go.

Roy, I wish you well in whatever you do next . I hope you take a break and recharge your batteries and don't hate us too much !!

Kenny ,welcome back as manager ,I wish you all the luck in the world , think you will need it , and hope we don't put too much pressure on you.

Very well put... I second that

Good intelligent post.. agree with everything said there
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Fair play to Roy. Having been subjected to so much abuse he really didn't have to, but by saying a few kind words about the club and its supporters he leaves with his dignity still in tact. I never doubted his intentions myself, only his ability to do the job, but it soon became clear that he wasn't the right fit for us...despite having proven to be a capable manager at other times in his career, most notably at Fulham.

My overwhelming feeling on hearing the new was one of relief if I'm honest. It feels fecking great to go into tomorrow's game with Kenny at the helm and just waiting to see what effect his presence will have on the plyers. Having a legend to live and look up to should give the whole place; players, management, staff and fans alike, a huge lift, and even more reason to put in a massive performance.

In the longer-term, we'll see, but if anyone deserves patience through adversity it is Kenny. So, if we don't win tomorrow, if we struggle a bit at times, let's not go OTT in the other direction.

(In conclusion....fecking get in!  :D )

unlucky roy, i'd like to think you tried your best but you were certainly well out of your depth. best of luck in whatever club you end up in next. and the best of luck to kenny - you are really going to fecking need it.

let's try to act with a bit of decorum now though shall we? he's gone, its over, kenny is at the helm. its what a lot of people we're calling for so lets not go rubbing salt in roy's or the club's wounds now. it really is time to move on.

and welcome back to all the banned people. :;):

Great statement Andy. Let's not underestimate the size of Kenny's task. Can't feel happy about this because it's just another marker of failure.

Very happy with the manager change...

what can I say... Kenny at the helm!

Feckin' Purslow should've given Kenny the manager role to start with... then we wouldn't have to go through this nightmare...
