Richards can play CB as well.  Great signing that would be.. I've rated Richards for a very long time and I would love to see that signing come through.

Yeah but we need a footballer not a boxer. IMHO Richards has a poor footballing brain, out of position a lot, his power and pace get him out of trouble, maybe carra can smarten him up, but well over priced at 28m, I don't like the idea of us :censored: money up the wall, carrol well overpriced too.

The sooner I hear he has signed the better, just until we put it all to bed.

Im still trying to get over the fact that he will be in the same team as Terry and Lampard

50m in cash, then we bid 25m for Andy Carroll to partner suarez, a decent winger/ midfielder (8m for adam), and a centre back.

And I quote myself from two days ago.........

I hate being right all the time. If the LFC board want an advisor on transfers then Im your man.

Anyone laughing at my suggestion of signing Andy Carroll now?

welcome Andy, and with Adam on his way to LFC right now for talks then expect him also by midnight in a red shirt. :)

Dalglish got it spot on when he said no one player is bigger than the club. How right he is.

coming up next, i will turn water into wine.

Young deal seems dead, adam deal isn't showing much but he may still be traveling to seal it.  Would love the Richards deal to pop back up but I highly doubt city will sell.

We need a bloody winger!!! Whats the point of havin a but monster up front if we cant whip crosses to him, unless we're playin Adam on the left, and he aint exactly quick (hes a fat sh*te :D  )

yeh mate spot on, it starts £25m for Carroll :D

Winger is absolutely necessary. £28m for Richards is insane, clubs will take the p!ss out of us when we try and sign someone decent. I don't think Richards is that good anyway. I want a proper centre back

Espn : "We hear from a source close to Torres that he is still in Liverpool waiting to be allowed to take a medical. I think that means Liverpool want to be sure of Carroll/Suarez first before letting him go. It will happen, but if not, he will be as popular on Merseyside as a Sir Alex Ferguson book signing...." This is what I have been thinking over for a while. I am still wondering how done a deal this is to be honest. This could well be the greatest play ever. My gut (and it is ample  :D ) tells me that they don't need the transfer money to make the purchases what they have. I think this is a big show which will benefit us either way, but definitely cause him to doubt. Imagine what a u-turn that would be.

It's never done till the ink is on the paper.

I realise that most on here are disappointed, but it's quite scary how you have all turned on him so quickly.
