Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I haven't ever really followed Richards but why is it that he hasn't fully developed/kept his place at City?  I've seen him against us and he looked like a beast, the man is a monster in size.

It looks like NESV and Comolli are targeting the best of the young hot shots out there. Proven ones too. We've gone local in this window, but it's the summer I can see them raiding other leagues for the most promising youngsters out there. Pay big, yes; but it could potentially save us big money in the long run, and in the long run, we'll have a young, talented, and improving squad that could be sweeping teams aside.

I said just the same afew weeks ago when we were discussig rebuilding the sqaud. If we spend 150-200 million now or over 3 years it makes no difference other then they players will have more time to gel together. If NESV have the money then it makes sense to buy 8-10 quality players by this summer then drag it out.

Be unhappy, boo him, but for god's sake we are LFC.  Rise above it, move onwards and upwards.

If all these signings come off today we will be in a better place, and I will have to pinch myself to make sure this is all real.

Anyone care to predict our starting 11 for Stoke :D
