after round 2mins thinkin bout it, but 35m for carroll may b a good sign, if the owners r willing to spend this on him, maybe they wont be scared to put their hand in their pockets in the future to sign some quality players

Wow, if the carrol rumor is true, I'll be damned. 35 flecking million is a joke. He is a good player but I'll give him max worth 15 million. Classis panic buy. If we are paying this amount then Torres is as good as gone. Don't know what to think as this is one crazy deadline....

Both are correct. Newcastle stated earlier that £35m would be the buy price for Carroll. We have matched the buy price.

They are yet to accept the bid, but common sense says if they set the price and a bid has been matched the sale will proceed.

I bet this time next year we will be in a better position going into a transfer session.
We would be better managed with better planning, scouting and better overall team management, so no more last minute selling/buying of players.
