I think he can play in the CL for them this year

Chelsea are not offering Anelka.
They offered Sturridge but we don't want him, it was Hodgson that did. Their next bid is £45m

As for Torres, he's joining up with the squad in a few hours, expect him to leave tonight. Dalglish is majorly let down by him.

City want him but not until the summer.

I have a inkling what's going to happen here and wait for it.............

Saurez will be unveiled as the new signing jointly with the new contract signing of Torrrresssss!!!!!

The picture in tomorrows papers will be of Daglish centre and Torres to the right and Saurez to the left..

Tell Torres he can go in summer. Thats whats happening with Rooney and Cesc... then we get a bidding war. What would we do with 50 million on deadline day

Wouldnt give him a new contract Rob, for three reasons.

He will continue to be linked with a move away anyway.

He might get injured again and be out for weeks/months and be our highest earner.

If things dont improve on the pitch he will have his t1tty lip on again and will be sulking around which is not good for team moral.

The fans wont look at him as their idol anymore not after handing a transfer request in to go to Chelsea of all people, in a lot of peoples eyes he has insulted the King by doing this and people dont take to kindly to that behaviour.

People soon forgave Stevie... but you're right, Torres has more or less burnt his bridges.. unless he comes and says it was all his agent he's gotta go

There's no reason he can't wait till summer.

He owes us that much i reckon. If there was any class about him he would do that at least.

He might have been in Spain but he knows whats going on and he is obviously happy for it to be happening

He wants to go to Chelsea so let him go and join Yossi on their treatment table.

We just have to make sure we got top dollar for him and I have a feeling that is why the transfer wont go through until tomorrow night.
