All the rumors about Torres sacking his agent is false, the player still insists on going and he hopes to push for a move to Chelsea by tomorrow

There are always tempering behind the scene. It seems Torres and Chelsea is working like a team as the timing is so coincidental. Probably someone from Chelsea approached Torres agent and told them their offer. Torres heard it and his eyes lit up and decided to go. If this happened, it will be couple days before the deadline so can leave sometime for us to find someone else. I'm really gutted if this really goes through and it is almost 2am here and just sitting my computer and constantly checking the news. Gutted and wondering if anyone will now burn the Spainish flag....

Anelka - 25 games 10 goals 2 assists. So pretty much like for like with Torres this season.

I just hope the money we recieve doesnt go towards Suarez deal. If not then Anelka and Suarez plus 35-40 million to rebuild in the summer (maybe even getting Adam in now) then im as happy with that as i could be at thsi moment.

Lets face it guys if he was staying he would have released a statement by now declaring his undying love for us, so far he hasnt the silence from him speaks volumes.
With a heavy heart I think we all know he will never play for us again *cries* :down:

JimBoardman Torres hasn't sacked his agent. He hasn't withdrawn his transfer request. He hasn't bought a card saying "sorry".

Strangely I'm more upset over this than when Stevie was off to Chelsea.

Torres has got into our hearts and it just felt like he belonged here. I just feel so depressed now and yet it was only yesterday when we were all over the moon 'cos we got Suarez.

Feel a bit sorry for Suarez 'cos we should be talking about him but he's been almost forgotten.

Me too. I really thought after staying through H&G that he wanted to be here. All that talk about his kids growing up here, and Liverpool being a working mans town just like back in his home time. All that respect everyone had for him has gone now.

Hope Carra cracks him where it hurts when we see them in a few weeks.

I reckon if we get Anelka we will be alright till the summer. We will surely get Adam now, should go after someone else too. Maybe Young.

I blame Benitez as much as I blame H&G for Torres going. He wasted so much money particularly on Aquilani, Keane and Dossena. I suspect Torres blames him too which is why Torres said last summer it was just as well Benitez left.
