I don't think he has changed his mind he would have issued a statement by now if that were the case. David Villa was right last summer when he said if we didn't vastly improve this season Torres would be off. The curious thing is why he's realised now that he is unlikely to be playing champions league next season when it was surely obvious long before christmas that we weren't in contention. We should have let him go last summer it's not like we'd have been that much worse off given that he's only scored 9 all season. We could have used the money to get someone else in now.

This season is pretty much a write off. We will just have to go out and get someone big in the summer. Aguero or Benzema...

i really hope he stays but not till the summer when he will then get what he wants,if he still wants it.if he stays he has to commit till at least the end of next season.
there is a lot of stories knocking around about,improved offer's,its his agent,he's withdrawn his request etc etc but none knocking around from torres saying he's not going anywhere.
he's had enough time to refute all these claims and choses to stay silent.
if his heart isnt here and he truly doesent want to be here then theres no point in flogging a dead horse.move him on asap for the right offer.

Looks like its gonna happen, wouldnt be so bad if we got Anelka but id still be gutted if we lost Nando, hes so special. Now are we after 50 million plus anelka or is he included in teh 50million. If thats the case how much is Anelka worth now hes 31 and also how has he performed this season?

If we could get a good amount of cash plus a decent chelsea striker, then I guess we are covered instead of gasping for air for the last couple days. Hope for Anelka, Drogba would cost too much and Sturridge isn't really good enough, though he is young and better than eggnogg.

No they wouldn't because it was part of the football club's operating debt not the holding company's and anyway Broughton and Purslow wouldn't have allowd that to happen.

Hodgson spent £20.3 million last summer and netted £22m 450,000. Are you saying that H&G made off with £2 million 150,000 when the club was sold to NESV in October?
