just been told Bruce Buck and some other chelsea execs are holding talks with Liverpool. They're expected to go on until tonight, with a solution announced in the morning.

The only broken promises at Liverpool were those broken by Fernando Torres when he said that he loved Liverpool, the fans and wanted to stay at the club for the remainder of his contract. There's not a shred of validity to his argument for leaving given that the owners replaced Hodgson with Dalglish and the owners have put the money up for Suarez. Let him go so we can move on and see how well he performs at Anfield in a blue shirt when he has to deal with the reaction he will get inside the stadium.

answer this if you had an employee going around without your knowledge saying and doing things that you didnt agree to.would you still employ him?
personally id give him the d.c.m.
if torres doesent go then its most likely because chavski wont stump up the asking price.

We cant afford to sell him now for a number of reasons, we have to wait until the summer. If we sell  him now we wont get a replacement and we will continue to achieve nothing this season making us a less attractive side to join come the season. Plus if we wait until the summer under the new fair play rules Chelsea will have to sell 40-50 millions worth of talent in thier squad with, given most of thier ages they will have to sell a fair ammount.

We keep Torres for now, him and suarez fire us into europe and maybe we even win it. We get more cheddar for him and more time to rebuild after him.

If he stays we forgive over time and buy players to get the best out of Suarez and Torres

If he goes then, Torres 50 million - Turan, Hazard, Lukaku for example

Everyone needs to chill YNWA

We dont have to sell, he is our player.
Take them for every penny, 50 million and Sturridge will do.

another forum has said that we have put a price tag on him and have spoken to another club about selling him......not the russians.

this could put us in a strange place were we have a player that dont wish to me here but will not move to a club that we wish to sell him to.

Apparently John Henry doesn't give in to players demands his record at the Boston Red Sox is proof of this. He won't allow Liverpool to be pushed around by Torres.

If this is the truth ... maybe the owner will sell Torres and clear all the debt ...
