The only reason he would go to Chelsea is for money.
There is no guarantee they will finish top 4
They have no history, heritage, tradition
Their fans are sh'ite and glory hunters
Their squad is old and past it
John Terry sh'ags his mates birds
Abramovitch is an interfering knob who picks the team
If he wants to accept all that over us for 20 grand a week more then fu'ck him
Hed better come out tomorrow and say it was all a big mistake or he is finshed at this club
If he doesnt I would keep him and make him play in the reserves or be banned from melwood and anfield till we sell him

was listening to the Times cheif sports editor on the radio, he says the lad wants to play for chelski and that the deal WILL go through this weekend !

If this is the case, he will be lining up in a blue shirt AGAINST us a week on Saturday at stamford bridge.

The one positive I would be able to take from this, is what happened when rushie left for juve. I remember feeling sick/shock at the time but we all know what we did with the huge £3.2M warchest

Kenny spent the money on Barnes, Beardsley and Aldridge and the rest is history.

The difference with Rush is he didnt go to a rival club in the prem - this is would the worst transfer for us ever .

many bids for many players but very few actually result in a move

chelsea bid for that defender(luiz?) as well and he's going nowhere. we bid for Adam and i must have missed that unveiling so why should we believe nando is a cert to leave

journos in this country make stuff up for a living

it might be true, it equally might not be - best to wait for actual news not shady tweets

Just looked at that, and I hope to God we stick to that stance. It's going to be a very long weekend though.

Is G Balague and the rest of the journos on a wind up or something? Anyway, why would Liverpool FC sell one of their best players to a rival.

I know the game has changed in many ways, but one thing for sure is that we must never sell our best players to rivals.

Chelsea are an ailing team and Torres would be stupid to go there. I thought the return of Kenny would have been enough for him to stay here until atleast the end of the season. Hopefully the arrival of Suarez and the persuasion of Kenny and Stevie will be enough for him to stay.
