If he goes there he may as well join United in the eyes of Liverpool fans and HE KNOWS IT.

But if thats what the man wants to do then good luck to him, he will go from hero to zero overnight and ruin his relationship with all Liverpool Fans.

40 million and Sturridge is in my eyes a good deal, Sturridge is a good young player who will score a lot of goals.

If we are all honest there are plenty of times in the last year we have watched Torres and thought, feck it just sell him he doesnt want to be here. Well it looks like that is going to happen.

sturridge aint that good. He's good, but not good enough to lead the line should suarez get injured or need a rest.

We'll need to get another striker in pronto.

Sturridge is 4th choice behind drogba, anelka and kalou - that's how highly they rate him - and he's 22 this year, hardly a young boy full of potential like lukaka.

The price is £60m. thats what id say, he can go for that. £40m wont buy Aguero at the moment. £40m wont buy Villa (if he was available), £40m wont buy any world class striker - so why sell torres for £40 and a 4th choice chelski reject
