and you saw the account books?
Yes sir I did. Not the actual accounting books, but copied version of them. I'm assuming a lot of you know who Jaimie Kanwar is, a lot of you actually might hate him and hate me for saying anything good about him, but he looks at what people try to claim and gets factual evidence to either prove it or disprove it. He copy pasted (?) what the accounting books had for player sales on many of the players we sold during the benitez era, many of the numbers surprisingly different that the number we thought. Yes, he could have lied and wrote something different, but there would be no point and he actually has quite a reputation to uphold.

I agree with you that people can write interesting posts and that we should be allowed to quote them without being branded as agreeing with every opinion that person has.
Cant say I agree with you on Johnson though

And for all those moaning about the lack of credibility of twitter thats fine but this after all is a rumor thread so if you don't like then kindly shut your cakeholes. I think it's refreshing we are all once again talking about getting in a top player. We could always go back to moaning how need quality players.

Reputation , are you serious .What reputation ? Your man kanwar tried to do untold damage to LFC whilst Hicks and Gillett were in charge . Ask him about that . The only reputation that this kanwar joker has amongst lfc fans is as a pleb . I cannot believe that there is actually people out there who follow and read his bile .

No problem, and fair enough about Johnson. I'd be fine trying him at RM.. but prefer Kelley at RB
I knew people would react like this to me bringing up kanwar. Also, yes I know it's not always in a lump sum depending on any add-ons from appearances, goals, etc... but from what I remember that was either the max we could get or that was it with no add-ons, but I've been wrong before.
I've read, literally over 100 article by kanwar. Although I don't always support him, he WAS NOT for hicks and gillet. He hated them as much as the rest of you lot so if you are going to call him a lier, please don't by hypocritcal. I don't want to start anything on this because I don't live in England and I don't see all the things that happen. It's too hard for me to find the right information here in America because nobody supports football. So yes, maybe I'm wrong, it's very well possible. But out of all the articles I have every read be kanwar, I have never heard him support H and G. Yes, he has claimed that fans have been irrational towards them, but I've never heard him support them, at least from the time I've read any of his articles from about a year and a half ago.

Ethan . KANWAR blamed everyone from the manager to SOS for the mess LFC were in . He deflected the attention away from the real culprits of all the mess and decided to take it on himself to blame the very people who were fighting hicks and gillett (THE F.UCKIN FANS) . He is a T1t and a fantasist and yes a LIAR . If you want to read the cack he prints fine ethan . What i would say though is have a look around and read the stuff that's really going on and not just what's happening in kanwars head .
on SOS. I can see why you are so upset that I say anything positive about him since you are a member of SOS, but guess what? Surprisingly I am too. I try not to be bias tho. Like I said, I don't live in England and I don't see that
that goes on so I can't have in opinion in a lot of that. What I do believe is some of the facts that he gives. When he takes information and passes it on, I have no reason to think he's lying. Could he be altering the reports? Sure why not. It just makes no point because he wasn't trying to prove a point, he was just sharing information. I HAVE SAID NOTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THE PLAYERS, FANS OR MANAGEMENT. The only thing of his I have openly supported is the factual articles he writes. If he alters the player sells reports than f-ck it, I'm wrong! but how could we tell? His managerial comparisons and game-by-game comparisons aren't wrong. Obviously they would be too easy for any idiot with 5 minutes of time to check, those to me are interesting because they put things in perspective that you might not originally notice. For instance, I thought RH was starting like sh!t at the beginning of the season and he compared the start of Houllier and Benitez to RH. They were extremely similar in their first 20 games in charge. In fact they were all three within like 1 win and 1 draw of each other. I'M SORRY I LIKE READING THESE FACTUAL COMPARISONS. I HAVE STILL SAID NOTHING ABOUT AGREEING WITH ANYTHING NEGATIVE HE SAYS ABOUT THE CLUB. Other things he has recently said for example:ethanr wrote:The thing that's great about how we are dealing with Suarez. If it were benitez, yea we probably would have signed Suarez yesterday, but we would have paid 25 million for him. benitez always gave in to the valuation that was demanded. If you think about the big-name signings we've had in the past few years with benetiz, we paid 20 for Keane, 20 for aqua who was almost unkown, and 18 for johnson. The reason we never heard of the link between clubs when we were buying was because he would close out the deal almost instantly before anybody had time to even speculate. It was the same with selling players. Alonso, for instance. We were basically told we sold Alonso for 30 million, but when you look at the actual figures in Liverpool's accounting books, we sold him for something like 23 million. benitez just wanted quick transactions, so he always gave in to other's demands.
With RH, it was hard to tell because the way he signed Meireles was so quick and unkown. Poulson and Koncheskey weren't worth enough to even bother. The difference between selling Alonso for 23 or 30 is like us paying either 2.7 or 3.5 for Poulson. It wasn't a significant enough difference that there should be some long-standing debate between the two. So we just fork out 3 and nobody complains. He didn't have to lie to us about what he was spending and recouping. We were also flat out told that we gotfor Mash. We were never really given an exact amount, but it was obvious we didn't get what he was worth.
I'm pretty confident that NESV and Kenny share the idea that the fans should be as involved as possible after the transfer goes through. I think they really want us to know what they spent on the player.

To be far it is highly unlikely that Rafa would have been the person who negotiated transfers.
He may have identified players but wouldnt have been the person that decided figures.

. Where's my Suarez news now aye
. Is he on his way? Has Henry and the missus met with his agent again over a lovely dinner? Was it in fact a hat she was wearing on the previous photo or just a big plant behind her as some have suggested? Could said plant do a job for us up front nodding the ball down for Torres? How much would it cost? Where on Twitter can I read about the potential signing of the plant? The plant IS signing right
