Then the club offer Adam extended contract taking his wage up from £29,000 a week to £50,000. So by this reckoning I would seriously expect Man.city to be planning long term which sounds like doesn't involve Mancini.

hmmm

I would pay £15M for Johnson. Class act and exactly what we need. Him and either A Young or N'Zogbia and we are sorted out wide.

N'zogbia would be great. A very powerful player who has come on leaps and bounds past 2 seasons.

I'd also like gary cahill from Bolton. A class act that lad! Cissokho from Lyon too. A quality left back. Striker?? Anyonesguess  really.

Yep I'd have him all day long. Really good player IMHO and was a superb buy at the money (about 2 mill from memory).

Arteta  :bowdown, great player he is. Him and Baines to Anfield , Poulsen and Konchesky to Goodison , now that would be a rip off :buttrock

With The reds being linked with Dortmund's Paraguayan striker Lucas Barrios ......
I was thinking I would sooner we go for someone like Oscar Cardozo who would really suit Liverpools needs down to the ground ...brillant in the air and a clinical striker and would certainly ease the burden on Torres ,,,I just feel he fits the bill of what a typical Liverpool striker should be and ticks all the boxes

Oscar
Cardozo

then again I am leaving myself open to be shot down ...but what the hell ...its my shout  :D

Both decent players, wouldn't mind either of them. Pawel Pogrebnyak too.

Don't rate Cardozo all that highly tbh....I saw him a few times, really only in highlights of European football (highlights, admittedly) and he didn't seem all that great.
