"complete and total made up bullshyt, from a joke journalist who doesnt speak Spanish and makes up interviews. NOONE in Spain calls Torres "Nando" . Sky Sports News should know better."

The proper response to that is "not so fast, son, you're still under contract and we are light in the world class strikers department. Get your head down and do your job. We'll decide if we're going to entertain any offers for you."
It may well come down to who the owners are in jan and what the financial situation of the club is - getting 40 to 50 mil into the club may well be vital .
That's a whole different discussion, though. Who'll be running the show come January and what their motives will be with regards to Nando and big money offers very much remains to be seen. This latest discussion, though, revolves around the player's wishes and my point there is that no player under contract has free reign to decide when he'll be sold.

bavlondon wrote:If we have to sell him then we should not settle for anything less than 55-60Mil imo. He still has what 4 years on his deal? There are only a few clubs that can afford him anyway so if they want him they will have to cough up.
