Peewee, are you still residing in KL?

I just had a meeting with a good firend who is a staunch manc supporter in Ipoh. I am waiting for the moment when I can simply smile at him when we beat the mancs but looks like it is not going to happen for sometime yet...

yes mate. im still in kl, i live near bukit bintang and my office is in central plaza in jalan sultan ismail.

just be satisfied that the mancs are also failing this season. i know it hurts how bad we are but look how far behind arsenal they are as well.

i know we should concentrate on Liverpool buts its sweet when then the scum also struggle

Unless we start to show a radical improvement and soon we may find that a top 5 finish is beyond us. As for playing for a nil nil draw  or a draw of any description ,until the shambles that is called our defence is sorted out the idea of us going anywhere hoping to nick a point is ridiculous. We may end up drawing a few games but we shouldn't be playing for them.

your so called love for the club should be as strong at a time like this when we are going through a rebuilding stage and giving inconsistent performances.

Fans need to stay true when we are losing, and support the club as much as u would if we were 1st.

Too true LFC#1.. I was at the game with 2 guy's who support Chelski,,, they were moaning at their team and I was moaning at ours... everyone of us said at the beginning of the season..in fact during Beitez's first days as manager that the team needed major overhauling..re quality of personnel...

it's painful to watch..though there were glimpses of what will be when the Boss gets the mix right.. in the meantime we can all moan and groan... but lets not loose sight that we are in a major transition and like any change.. its good sometimes its not so good at others....
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

RAFA.. MADE THE PEOPLE HAPPY !

He probably played Troare an Diao to put them in the shop window, the likes of WBA would buy that pair. But yesterday was not the time or place to play them, Hamman should have played and Warnock for kewell, we where lucky we didnt get beat about 3-4 nill.
If Kewell is going to oz today for the WC qualifiers I sugest he stay there
Im gettin really f#kin ****** off now, when I see the likes of spurs, everton, and bolton playing better than us
A.B. you said you are glad that you didnt pay 20$ to watch the game on pay per view, well them fans that went to europe this week an chelsea yesterday forked out hundreds to watch a p#ss poor performance, them fans are paying this lot of sh#tes wages

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

it would be great, that if the team lost the players didnt get paid. in football ,payment should only be made to those who are successful. not sure if that would work, but it certainly would wake a few people up

Haha.. I am a IBM Thinkpad...  :Oo:
Anyway, I wasn't slagging the team. Just wanted to hightlight our weak areas. I believe to improve we need to compare ourselves to the best team in the premiership. Not with mediocre team and rejoice because we are better than them. If this is the case why bother improving. To be honest we are slightly better than last year in certain areas but overall others teams have improved too and some more than us. Thus the margin of difference actually increased eventhough we actually improved. Confused?? In short we cannot think other teams performance remain stagnant.

I fully agree and understand that Rafa has a lot to do. But so far I believe he has failed to motivate the players. Have you guys monitor what some of the players are saying... Or maybe it is just me.. haha  :O

The most important thing now is to improve the basic. Under GH our passing and ball holding is horrible. Let me explain what I mean. During that time we practise "kick and pray" long ball. The midfield will kick the ball upfield and pray it will reach owen or hope that the defender may slip up.

Have you ever notice that when a team play against us they quickly close in on or hackle our players that have the ball? If you dun believe me watch the other matches again. You will know the results of those matches too. Because liverpool players can be easily dispossesed, all teams that play against us like to do that. Compare the same opponent playing against Arsenal. You will notice a difference. Why? It is actually very simple. Think about it.

Becoz of our club situation we have to make do with what we got. Just like life... So we have to be fundamentally strong, and the fundementals start from basic. Cheers.

It is possible, lets be honest that we may not finish in the champions League spots at the end of the season. Gutter? definately. Disaster? no not really. I know the financial implications and the fact it becomes harder to attract top players but in our current financial position we probably can't do that anyhow. The way I see it, under Houllier we were only EVER going to finish fourth or fifth, the style of play and attitude meant we could never compete. Under rafa, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel, it's not someone lighting a fag or an oncoming train it is hope.
First though he has to unload a lot of poor players. Not to get big transfer fees, none of them are good enough for that but to free up some cash from the wage bill, (it amazes me when people defend our transfer record. Does anybody seriously believe that Biscan, Diao, Diouff are not available on a free if someone was willing to take up their contracts?) We'd give em away alright but nobody wants em. Don't think you'd get a whole lot for Traore, Dudek, Smicer, Kewell, Finnan either. 5 million the job lot anyone? I'm not advocating outing all these blokes at once, jeez we wouldn't be able to put a side out but they clearly must be gradually eased out and replaced.
He's playing the way he is at the moment because he doesn't realisticly believe we can compete with the good sides away from home with the personel we've got. I don't remember thinking Valencia were defensive when they came to anfield. It was more along the lines of "Christ, they're brilliant. Outclassed us from the first minute to the last." Mind you, we probably had more shots than them and were really unlucky. It probably rained the wrong type of rain etc. Do me a favour.
It's gonna take time and patience. Personally I'd forgo the Champions League for two seasons (lets be honest, we aint exactly gonna win it this year are we?) if we came back stronger and competitive.

its not that bad as eveyone thinks if we win our game in hand were 4th and its against ****** teams but if u look at this way we struggled last season against weak our rather the home form was good and then rafa can change the menatily of the players away from home but some players aren't up to scratch its all good and well giving some players a chance but there not up standards and we pay the huge pay check .

Again we play like s.hit. Almost have a heart attack to see them play this way. A couple of things I notice about Liverpool players:
Can't pass well.
Can't cross.
Can't dribble pass defenders.
Can't hold the ball.
Always head aimlessly during a header.
Have no idea where teamates are.
Have poor set pieces.
And a whole lot more.....

If we continue to play like this, the best position we can get this season is 5 or maybe even 6. Simply poor.

For a team that cant do all that 5th place is pretty amazing!!!!

i love LFC very much, but find the style of play very frustrating most of the time. What will it take, well i'll tell you..............some hard graft and make them work for their money

does everyone really hate kewell?

ok, hes not playing his best but the lads trying,a dn he saved a goal for us yesterday.
the guy needs a chance, all our players do. The futures not so bright now but it can be.
We need to play 442, u guys are right about that. We also nede to severely work no set pieces. chelsea shouldnt have been 3 4 nil up. One nil was a fair result.
We just need to progress and keep trying to get points, cant ask more than that
slipping away? Pants i say
its gonna be ok
Why do i say that?
Im aliverpool fan, thats why. Not gonna sit ina  corner and cry when i support the greatest team in the world
