Carlton cole and Konchesky have only proved they were not good enough to play for anyone decent in the Premiership.

I don't know what you mean... you'd rather buy players like Dossena and Aquilani? Wed all rather get the Torres of the world but Roy needs to strentghen the squad, which he is doing with players he know can help us

I'm actually glad hes staying, he CAN do a job for us

Why would he move when the money at LFC for txt messaging on matchday far outweighs the miserly pittance he would get for playing football at any other club. ???

You think? :D

Bookies are 1/10 that Carlton Cole signs. For the layman that means a certainty.

I still have hope we pull something unexpected :D

Deals don't have to be wrapped up at 6pm.  You still have time afterwards to do all the paper work.  Think the agreement just needs to be in place..

I used to have the same thoughts on a saturday night.

The unexpected always ended up being below my sober standards.

Still every cole is a goal...or is that hole?

I am not saying that at all.  I'm saying I would rather have better players than Konchesky and Carlton Cole.  I dont give a damn where they are from as long as they are quality.

El Zhar had been offered to Panathinaikos after being rejected from Blackpool. Oh well, not that anyone cares about him. :D

Agreed.  I think Babel has done horribly for us.  He's fast, he's.... well that's his entire asset base right there.  He can't finish, seems to scuff those up a lot.  I'll always be thankful for the goal he scored against man u a couple years ago to make it 2-1, but other than that, I've never been happy with his performance.  I would be glad to get CC out of him.

The thing about CC is that he is at a bad club.  He is a player who NEEDS good players to get him the ball in a good position to score.  If he comes to Liverpool, he will have that.

He would be better than nothing.
