well its skybet, was 7/4 this morning, now 1/10.. just means everyone heard the whispers, had the bet at 7/4 so sky had to go massive small to make sure no one else backed him

What an anti climax this transfer window will be with only Konchesky and Cole signing today FOL.

Well I think it's sensible to look at the transfer dealings in their entirity, and if we end up with Konchesky and Cole then Roys done an excellent job. We've shipped out Masherano, Riera, Babel, Deggen and the like, and signed Joe Cole, Carlton Cole, Morailes, Konchesky and Poulsen. Is our squad stronger as a result? I most definately think it is yes.

Its not exotic to be sure. But both can do a job. Would have preferred Llorente though - IF babel is going doesn't that give us something like 19 mil. to spend? - upgrade the striker if that's the case.

I'm personally pleased at our transfer progress. Compared to the dejection i've felt in previous years anyway.

Reminds me of when my mrs moaned at me for buying our 4 bed detached house. She weren't happy i sold the 2 bed semi before!!
