never heard of this guy before

He is good mate. I was impressed with him two years ago when I watched him playing for Sweden and he has only improved since then.

He doesnt really have any weakness.

Another good thing about this guy is that he can play as either attacking mid or striker so it might free up a bit of space on the bench.

Carlos Salcido? I really dont get why do we need a new left back when we have Agger, and Aurelio as back up? Not that I dont rate Salcido, but he is old and not better than Agger.

We need a new left back because Agger offers nothing going forward and both him and Aurelio are quite injury prone.

Agger is wasted at left back anyways, he is a brilliant central defender and very under rated imo.

I'd rather have a good defense on the left than a player that goes forward. Johnson is great going forward but the guy sucks in defense. I dont need that kind of full backs. Plus, Agger is great or at least good enough for a full back in going forward. Strong in defense, going forward when needed, an ideal left back if you ask me. You shouldnt hope on Salcido going forward anyway. I think that we dont need a left back as a starter cos we have Agger and if we are looking for a back up why the heck did we sign back Aurelio?I'd rather concentrate on strikers and midfielders.

If you play one up front and without out and out wingers you need full backs that can run forward to join in and set up attacks. Its a tough role getting up and down the park but if your midfielders are clever enough they can just keep an eye out and cover whilst you leg it back into position. If we are going to have full backs that just smash the ball away and make tackles then we will need two up front and flying wingers to open up teams in the premiership.

Yeah he is good at going forward as centre back because he dribbles down the middle.

At left back i have yet to see him very high up the pitch

PSV 3-1 AZ: Liverpool Target Toivonen Upstaged In Front Of Dalglish

It was another Swede in Marcus Berg who was the star of the show...
With all the spotlight on the Eredivisie's topscorer Ola Toivonen in his 50th league appearance for PSV, a brace from his strike partner Marcus Berg sealed a crucial 3-1 win over AZ. The Liverpool target did, however, impress with his all-round link-up play in front of the Premier League club's ambassador Kenny Dalglish.

PSV took the lead on 43 minutes when Berg scored his first goal for the club since joining on loan from Hamburger SV. He raced onto a Toivonen through ball before outpacing both AZ centre-backs and calmly dinking the ball over the onrushing Joey Didulica.

Gertjan Verbeek's young visitors scored a deserved equaliser on 50 minutes when a tempting back post cross from Johann Berg Gudmondsson was headed goalwards by Erik Falkenburg into the net. However, PSV gaffer Fred Rutten will be extremely unhappy with Isaksson's weak attempt at what was a routine save.

PSV, though, hit back instantly. Former AZ player Jeremain Lens raced down the right, riding Hector Moreno's challenge before squaring for Berg who tapped in to the empty net. It was a particularly sweet moment for Lens and the man who brought him to Eindhoven - former AZ sporting director Marcel Brands.

For his part Toivonen was a constant aerial threat as he thrived on the impeccable delivery from Dzsudzsak Balazs. Halfway through the first half he spurned the kind of chance he has been taking thus far this season when he headed wide at the back post after yet more sterling work from the Hungarian.

As AZ pushed for a late equaliser, the Swede once again proved too strong for Moisander and Moreno in the air as he met yet another Dzsudzsak cross but Didulica was equal to the task. The former Malmo striker Toivonen was then taken off with nine minutes left to allow Ibrahim Afellay a brief run out in the closing stages. The tricky midfielder showed his array of skill when he danced through a maze of AZ defenders to keep his cool and seal all three points in stoppage time.

The visitors once again proved that they were more than a match for their opponents in terms of ball circulation but missed chances from goalscorer Falkenburg and Australian Brett Holman highlighted the need for an out and out striker. Perhaps the answer lies in former AZ hitman Danny Koevermans, who was an unused substitute today.

PSV's third consecutive league win means that they sit top of the Eredivisie as the only side with a perfect record. AZ are winless from their opening three fixtures but will surely not be in the bottom three for too long.

Both sides are in European action in midweek with AZ taking a two-goal lead on their long trip eastwards to face Kazakh champions Aktobe while PSV, 1-0 down, host Russian side Sibir Novosibirsk
