I don't think Forlan would do :censored: all in England. He struggled before and he will probably struggle again. And people are saying spend 15mil on him? :censored: id sooner have Cisse back, at least we know he will get some goals.

Dont want Forlan near us,he could not cut it in the prem before so why could he now.Too much of a risk, plus he will be too expensive for a 31 year old because of his record in Spain and in the world cup!
Some players just cant hack the EPL and he IMO is one of them!

Its irrelevant anyway because I think Nando will stay put...people saying he wants to "win things"..I agree, what footballer does not want to?? But he's still young and its not exactly panic stations for him...So saying he will move because he wants to win things is cr@p talk,I would agree if he was 31 or so and had no trophies worth talking about, but the lad has plenty of time!
He'll stay, cause he loves the club and we love him!

Plus Forlan is an ex Manc so he can double fu'ck off!
I hate this time of the year, the amount of shi'te rumours flying about do my head in...I tend not to listen to them and reckon its best not to go looking for them!

Just cant wait till the season starts... and have a good feeling about it! :nod

And Lakes you have no shame lad...that what you posted about Rafa and Nando is utter balls,,,Nan is right!

Exactly. He has 4 years left on his current deal. Remind him of that and if he wants to go then tell him to let us know again in 3 years time.  :rasp

I think its the fact that he has refused to commit to the club 3 weeks before the season kicks off that makes some of us have this sneaky little feeling he might just be contemplating doing one!
We ALL want him to stay, but some of us would like him to let us know if he wants to!
No point in hanging on to him if he wants to be elsewhere and while hes keeping us all in the dark times ticking away on the transfer window.
How fkn hard is it for him to say hes staying?
To be honest hes acting the c-unt  :nod

im back from screaming kids and not a drink touched my lips ,coca cola.
And back on the Fenando situation. i genuinly think he will stay and as i said before if he went i honestly dont think it will for footballing reasons, The way i look at it the lad signed a contract extension not long ago, so to me thats says he wants to stay here , i wouldnt dream of trying to cash in on him , because when fit for me there is no one better at doing what he does, , if he does decided to go himself then thats a different scenario ill be very dissapointed and i will want to know the reason why, Because i truely believe it wont be because of Roy or our previous manager . Will he have felt he has been decieved by thoose upstairs with the investment that got talked about that was supposed to be coming in, and wanting better quality players to play around, Is that why Christie is out there with him and not Roy , who i feel should be the one talking to him , Has he had his head turned by the Barca lads or other Spanish team mates , and that is why i will want questions anwered from him AS TO WHY,

But in my heart i still believe he will be wearing our shirt next season, He is one player we just cannot afford to lose , far to costly to replace someone with the same abitlity , and the lad is so young he is only gonna get better ,

Well to be fair he did say he won't be discussing his future until he he gets back from his holiday. Not saying he is not talking to anyone but I reckon we will know by the end of next week.

When has he refused to commit to the club??....maybe he just does not want to say anything because everytime he does gutter rat journos add bits on,chinese whispers happen and idiots like you end up believing it....has it passed your mind that sometimes saying nothing is best and the lad is actually very intelligent?

Refusing to commit??As far as Im concerned he committed when he renewed his contract, and he needs to say nothing more!
And hes acting the c,unt?Really,how...The lad is on holiday and taking a break from football and is not obliged to say anything regarding his future to appease idle gossip!

Hes our player and that is it!

Even if he did say last week yes im not going nowhere ive got a contract ,the journos would of twisted it to suit themselves to come out with something different,

Fernando on Strike ties himself to Melwood gates , he dosnt wanna go to Barca,

Its obvious he hasn't committed to us yet.
As for being fed up with the speculation, that doesn't wash m8.
Where does the supporters feelings come into the reckoning?

We are not in the dark, the lad is on his break and does not need to say anything!!
NO OFFICIAL OFFERS..all we have is paper talk, manufactured stories...just the usual scaremongering from the usual places.

He has a contract and is an LFC player...that is all we need to know.

Think of it this way..if you were Torres and had a pretty bad world cup due to lack of fitness, this being reported daily! At the same time being one of the best strikers on the planet, having a bad season(appearance wise) due to injuries and wanting to just chill out with your family before you head back to work....what would you do??

I know I'd blank it all out and enjoy time with my loved ones and I'd know I had a contract and would not feel the need to re assure paranoid fans that always think negative..because they'll only say the same things next season....or maybe in January!!

Hes a red and hes staying a red....stop panicking over exactly nothing...cause that is what it is...he said NOTHING!

Grow up lad
Do you for one minute think that RH would be making comments about not knowing if hes committed?
That would really encourage any would be targets to join us wouldnt it? as well as inviting would be offers for him.
Its not a fkn game, he can have all this uncertainty squashed in five minutes.
Hes the one causing this not the papers, their just revelling in his behaviour.
I want him to stay because hes committed to LFC and not because its taken weeks to talk him around  :)

We all hope he stays but Torres has been hard work lately and frankly his silence and refusing to answer questions about his future is causing problems. The new manager is trying to bring everyone together and pulling in the right direction and yet Torres and indeed Mashcerano are sitting on the sides playing hard to get and sulking when we need it least of all. I understand these lads are on holiday but a few words is all it takes and we can all crack on and move forward. Torres is a good lad, you can see that, but hes had his head turned since getting on that plane and meeting up with his muckers in Africa thats for sure. I hope his holiday hangover doesnt last too long because its back to the real world now and not the glitz and glamour of Africa but then again maybe thats his problem. If he fancies playing over and Chelsea and pitching his skills against Drogba and Ankela or down the road with Tevez and Adebayor and god knows who else then good luck to him. Torres is mint but hes the only forward weve got and when he plays for his other team, Spain, he cant get in the side. Truth be known hes not the only player in the world and the clubs that are chasing him already have terrific forwards on the books so he may wish to consider this before jumping ship to spend time warming the bench like he did in Africa.

And that is why i am annoyed that it is not Roy talking to him ,a football man instead of a leveraged buy out merchant,

It deffo should be our manager and not Christie doing the talking. because feck knows what he is saying,
