Well, Argentina vs. Mexico was one of the games of the tournament in 2006. If the upcoming rematch is half as exciting, I'll be impressed. :cool:

according to mccarthy last night on commentary, greece going into a world cup game and not having a go was wrong. whereas going to old trafford and admitting defeat before a ball is kicked is presumably alright. :shifty

He's a t'wat, his constant whinge about the greeks "defensive" attitude was laughable given the game plans he's often employed, notably the one you've mentioned St Mike.

I think I have done everything in excess this World cup ... I took a month of work ,I have personally had that many barbecues I have now blocked out the sun ,I have downed copious amounts of Lager with little concern for my slowly drowning liver ,and if I ever see another Hotdog , Hamburger , Steak or Chicken it will too soon

isn't it FUCKING GREAT

and to add to that the French have gone home humiliated ,dejected ,demoralised and await national ridicule...... now if only the Germans could reciprocate :;):
