Well this world cup is certainly providing some upsets.

Germany lose to Serbia , Spain to Switzerland and France to Mexico. Meamwhile England can only draw with USA and Algeria whilst the Italians can only do the same against Paraguay and New Zealand.

Surely the top table of european football haven't all similtaneously become sh'ite ?

The saying "there's no easy games at international level anymore" definately seems to be coming true in this competition.

Lakes Lakes Lakes  :no

heres one for you, the bbc understand that 5 England players had a go at Rooney after the game for trying to win the game on his own.
one player almost came to blows with Rooney...(it seems that might have been jamie carragher)

got another one but not from the bbc.

during the 2nd half STEVEN GERRARD asked for Rooney to be taken off, he also asked if he could go back into the role he likes, he was told no.
If its true or not i feel the players have lost trust in Rooney.

Thats you two posts . ^^^

So our two players are not only trying to rule the roost in our dressing room now and cause mutiny against the manager but theve carried onin the England changies and all . so its gone from loosing the dressing room at ours to loosing the dressing room at theres . load of fecking bullsh.it.

england were never contenders and are not on the same level as the usual big countries. However, they'll win their game against the mightly slovenia, then 50/50 in the next round. They won't be in the semis though. Quarters is about par for England.

Nan the SG bit was shown on tv during the game.

the jamie carragher comes the bbc repoter at the game doing the press stuff. the bbc repoter is now being talked to by the bbc as he told press reporters what he found out before telling the bbc, this is where all the bust reports with Rooney that were in the press today come from.

its not inside info nan its been talked about on other forums that talk about the world cup a lot more than here, also both reports have been on the radio today and on SSN.
